JB Remodeling Services, LLC. does amazing craftsmanship and pays attention to every little detail! I appreciated the team’s ability to be flexible with ideas, staying within a reasonable budget, and offering affordable suggestions along the way. Also, I appreciated how he would take the time to explain things about the job and come up with cost saving ideas. Jonathan is genuinely invested in doing quality craftsmanship, kind, timely, hard worker, and easy to communicate with at any point. I plan to hire Jonathan again for future projects and would highly recommend his services to anyone!

Excellent all-around. I really appreciated the responsiveness from day 1. All my phone calls were returned promptly. Nick and his partner Brian completed the work on my timeframe, and my total was as estimated. Nick explained the services thoroughly and gave me options for the wall framing. I will definitely use Kasota Creek for my bedroom finish.

JSC is a terrific company. I first asked for a cedar fence, after having Jim S recommended by a neighbor. The job expanded, as Jim's competence and fine subcontractors gave me the confidence to improve a 55 year old house. This involves every part of building a new house, frame, roof, cement in basement, insulation, electrical, plumbing. Tile, subflooring, sheetrock. More. Except, it is being done within a house. They must work around existing structures and utilities. It is quite impressive to observe. Neighbors and friends and other professionals are in awe.

He shows up on time, has terrific sub-contractors who show up and are polite, they all explain what they are doing and allow me input, no communication problems, which I highly value. The work winds up better than I asked for or expected. The pergola had to match exactly an old one, to keep the somewhat historic house community-friendly. It is perfect. The old porch columns were so bad I could kick them out (but waited for braces to be in place). Jim had the new ones in in a flash. That is part of the charm of working with JCS, things get done before you know they've started. The wall in the basement -- probably not very difficult, I don't know, but in a spot that needed it and I hadn't thought of it, Jim did. He is a very good problem-solver. I keep thinking I am underpaying him, which is quite pleasant, really. I can't comment much on the main house interior wall yet, it's a big project involving ductwork and electrical lines. Also, Jim is utterly adorable.

Dan was great to work with from start to finish. We started the project in April with the goal of having it completed in October. Dan was great at keeping in touch as we co-ordinated with a few other contractors (electrical, plumbing and HVAC) and helped up keep the project on task. One thing I would really like to commend Dan on was his ability to ask questions. Sometimes contractors just take a design and make assumptions, but Dan took the extra time, effort and interest to make sure that we were getting what we wanted. Dan and his employees were very professional, timely and punctual and left nothing to chance. I highly recommend contacting Dan for your construction projects. I know we're going to contact him again for our next project.

I worked with Rob to go over the plan, the proposed wiring and diagrams. He took the time to understand what the end goal of the entire remodel was, not just electrical components. I think this helped him to come up with some suggestions and recommendations that I had not considered. During the project, we ran into some tight spaces which required a few last minute changes, which Rob and his team were able to overcome without significant delay or outrageous overages in budget. The installers were very knowledgeable of the project as well. They took the time to confirm to the specifications, and offered a few suggestions and recommendations of their own. In the end, we chose to implement some of the recommendations which did cost a little more than we were expecting, however Rob and his team were very reasonable with the final overage charges and worked within our budget to make it happen. I would highly recommend Rob and his team for your next wiring project.

Trevor was the general contractor for the job and contracted with a plumber, electrician, and insulation subs to complete the job. He did a good job coordinating things and the subs he uses were great!  Trevor is easy to talk to and listened very well to what we wanted, but is not shy about suggesting alternate/better ways of doing some things, though we always had the final say in how things were done. He has years of experience and in several instances had better ideas than we had and as a result our project turned out better than we had originally envisioned. Overall we are highly pleased with the quality and looks of our new space and would highly recommend him to others.

Mickey is a consumate professional!  He is clear and direct in communication. He follows up and responds to e-mails and phone calls promptly! I worked with him twice before when I redid 2 bathrooms/laundry room and later when I updated our family room and bedrooms. Most recently was my kitchen renovation. I felt extremely comfortable knowing he would stay on time and budget and would listen to me, even when I changed my mind on a detail. This time, though he was always available if needed, the on-site activities were managed by Nate, who also did an excellent job and was unfailingly polite. During this reno, I noted a flaw in the flooring in the laundry room (from prior reno). Mickey managed the warranty and contacts with the flooring people and it was replaced at no cost to me. Renovations are stressful, but working with Mickey made it easier than I imagined.

Their specialty is custom homes. They also do remodeling work. The basement looks great. The job cost me $37000. I liked their attention to detail. I was looking for something more customized than the general basement remodeling. They were definitely able to do that for me. They did everything in-house except for the electrical, heating and cooling, and the plumbing work. My husband and I were really concerned about the materials they were using, but they actually bid four other bids that I had received. They were the lowest and they did a great job. They completed the work before time. They came out punctually. They were very professional, but yet friendly and courteous. They took the time to explain everything to me. They made me understand what they were doing. I will use them again in the future.
