He arrived with a complete package/brochure which included a letter of introduction and an unsolicited list of references of work completed within our local area. Randy was very patient with us in trying to decide whether to use cedar or pressurized wood to support the deck as well as our seasonal porch. On the first day of work, a three man crew arrived with Brandon as the lead team member. The crew was very professional, knowledgeable, and quiet as they worked for the next five days. They were extremely tidy in cleaning up during and after the work product was installed. We would definitely use their services again and recommend them to others. A job very WELL DONE!"

"Fantastic! Trevor worked personally with us from the initial estimate all the way through completion of construction. He ran every number, gave us lots of different ideas, was patient, and had no problem using the design we brought to him. He asked lots of questions and made sure we were satisfied every step of the way. We knew he would be busy throughout the summer, but he kept us up-to-date with the timeline and met the scheduled start date. When he did start, he was right there with his two guys, 100% hands-on the whole way through. They were extremely professional, and worked hard, bell to bell, from start to finish. We didn't necessarily know what to expect, but they finished in less than 5 days! After they were done, Trevor made sure we got all the relevant inspection and permit paper work, and our yard looked like they hadn't even been there. Except of course for the deck, which is absolutely spectacular! We've been on it every night since they finished and we love it. We couldn't be happier with Trevor, and we will be calling him again when we're ready to finish the basement. Finally, we'll note that we did our research, received several bids prior to making our initial decision, and Trevor came in the lowest by quite a bit. "Project Manager Curt did a great job making sure materials and people were delivered on time and ready to work. The roofing crew was great. Curt drove down on a snowy January day to address a concern, fully explaining why I was seeing what I was seeing. When snow melts and the shingles warm, the issue should resolve itself without any intervention necessary. They have a good warranty, and Curt was very clear about rectifying any problems that may show up. I believe him."

It went really well. Adrian stopped by at the agreed to time and looked things over for the job. He suggested that I have some additional flashing replaced that was not in the package and I agreed to have that done.

The crew came out on the day that we had scheduled, and even though no starting time had been set the crew arrived and started work at 8:10 AM. They guys were finished with the roof late afternoon. I was surprised at how fast it all went.

I inspected the work after the crew had left and found that the chimney flashing had not been replaced and another area that I had some questions about.  I sent Elizabeth at All American an email about the issues and we setup a meeting with Adrian. The missing chimney flashing was an oversight and that would be taken care off. Adrian listened well to my other issue and a a solution was worked out. The extra work was scheduled and completed in 2 days.

"We originally spoke to Peckel and two other contractors in 2009 for an estimate on a new fence, but had decided to hold off on installing one that year. When we decided to go ahead with it this year, we only called Peckels due to the great service we received last year, including the amount of time they had spent with us talking about our plans/options and the very detailed estimate/plans we had received. When they arrived to update our estimate, they had the original plan/estimate in hand and were able to recall our discussion from a year before! We discussed some changes we wanted, some problem areas we hoped they could address, and also were told about this great buy on tongue and groove cedar they had recently received. Due to changes to our original fence design and the great buy on wood, the estimate came down almost $2000, so we were very pleased. They also noted that we had dogs, so that they would have to work fast to get the old fence down and the new one up. They estimated they could begin the work in 3 weeks and were right on target. They removed our old chain link and installed the new posts in about a day and half. The cement work around the base of the posts was very professionally finished off and the posts were perfectly aligned. As they began the fence installation, they ran into a few problems in our yard that changed the originally plan, but made sure to reach out to us to discuss our options befpre proceeding. The fence installation took about 2? days, and we couldn't be happier! Our yard is not level, sloping down in one corner, and they did an incredible job adjusting the fence to match the slope while keeping the top line laser leveled. We also had requested a double gate along the back to allow us to open up the fence to throw snow off our driveway, and they created a great double gate for just that. They knew the reason for the new fence was one of our dogs, who fancies himself an escape artist, and took great care to ensure any opening was small enough to prevent his escape (so far he has searched every corner with no success!). They also took great care to finish off our neighbors chain links fences to not leave any gaps for them, which we (and they) greatly appreciated. The finished product is great! We love the look of it and the craftmanship! Everyone we dealt with at Peckels was professional and considerate - always thanking us for the work. This was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a contractor, and would definitely recommend them to friends/family or hire them again."
