About us

At present, Bachman's has six retail Floral, Gift, and Garden Centers in the Twin Cities, Minnesota and a floral presence in metro area Lunds and Byerly's stores. Bachman's also operates indoor and outdoor landscaping divisions, a nursery wholesale division, seven acres of greenhouses, and a 670-acre growing range near Lakeville, Minnesota, which produces many of the plants, flowers, and landscaping products sold through Bachman's locations. Bachman's fleet of purple floral trucks delivers over 5,000 packages during an average week. For a busy Valentine's Day week, Bachman's will use over 180 delivery vehicles, including purple trucks, private cars, and two cab services to deliver over 24,000 purple packages.

Thank you for the recommendation of Dee Larson of LandscapeGal.org. She has been amazing in her continuous assistance in mitigating nasty invasive species, such as Bishop's or Gout Weed, Sting Nettles, Buck Thorn and Peanut Vine. I have thoroughly appreciated her expertise and her willingness to explain to a newcomer to Northfield, Zone 4, what some of the specific issues are for our area of native plants and invasive species. Jeff Damm of YOURDAMMGarden, inc. has since put in all new pollinator and native plants. My back yard is ablaze with fresh beauty, hummingbirds, and now new butterflies appearing. They sell anything and everything. They do a beautiful job. The arrangement was so impressive that the family used some of the flowers in bud vases for the meal after the service. I would use them again.

When I went to Bachmans I had a very specific idea on how I wanted to change the look of our yard. The employees were very helpful looked through catalogs and plant books, brought me out to see many plant options which would work in my small space. The process was easy. The selection was good, and prices were reduced for Fall Clearance!! Tree delivery was free also! The yard looks Great! Neighbors have complimented us on our creation.
