Holton Electric Contractors is a commercial electrical contracting company located here in Minneapolis. We primarily work on commercial and industrial projects; however, we also service and construct in the residential market as well. Holton Electric is grounded (no pun intended) in customer service-- we are a small, flexible shop that places our customer first. We are not seeking to be the biggest firm in the Metro but rather the go-to firm for tenants, owners, general contractors and your neighbor(s) for their needs. We've carried out projects ranging from $500,000 to $500-- demonstrating that we have you covered whether you are a retailer building out your tenant space, a local manufacturer adding equipment, a restaurant needing a new panel to handle a new grill and mixers, a university doing a facility build-out or doing lighting retrofits.

"Horrible communication. Delayed work for months which cost us a lot of money. Brandon and Detailed by Design are not upfront about costs and their ability to complete projects on time. We met with the owner Brandon to address all the issues and finally agreed to a resolution which would have still been a loss to us however he reneged at the last minute and did not pay to replace the old furnace he tried to pass off as new. If you choose to use this business, check all receipts on "new" appliances they say they installed. We reported this business to the Department of Labor because of the shoddy work in installing the furnace and because the furnace was old when we paid for a new furnace. The dept of labor confirmed they were not licensed to install the furnace. We paid for a new furnace ourselves and a licensed contractor to install it. Overall a lot of issues and an absolute nightmare. We are still working on recouping some of our costs from this business."
