"Bella Casa painted a house we are selling under contract for deed four years ago. Some peeling and blistering developed. The purchasers asked Bella Casa to fix it. Bella Casa readily agreed to do so and sent out a team of painters out almost immediately. They spent two days scraping, sanding and painting, and the house now looks great. All work is being done without charge.

Bella Casa painted the trim on our house seven years ago and the trim on a neighbor's house about five years ago. Those paint jobs have held up very well.

"Jamie did an exceptional job painting the exterior of our home. We've had it painted several times over the 30 years we've lived here and he was by far the best. "Harald Christiansen is a painter who lives in Rio Rancho, NM. Recently Harold painted the interior of my house. I can't say enough good things about the job he did. Harold took a great deal of care in his work and was very thorough in all aspects of the job. Before starting painting, he was also very open to my ideas, and or suggestions. Yes, you can pressure wash epoxy floors, but you must take precautions to avoid damaging the surface. While most epoxy floors can be cleaned with a mop, you might choose to pressure wash if the floor is stained, has ground-in dirt, or is covered with mold or mildew. To do so safely, first soak any stains or dirty areas with a gentle cleanser. Use a lower pressure setting with a gentle nozzle, such as a green, white, or black tip, or a 45-degree angled tip. Keep the spray nozzle at least 18 inches away from the floor to protect the surface. Using a surface cleaner attachment or a rotary scrubber can also help prevent overspray. Be cautious if using a power washer that heats the water, as the combination of heat and pressure may be too powerful and could damage the epoxy coating.

While the above methods will help you remove paint from tiles, you may need to take a different approach to get rid of grout haze. If you’ve recently applied the grout, you may be able to wipe it off with a wet cloth. Otherwise, you can try removing it with a rubber grout float, spraying it with a mixture of four parts water to one part vinegar, or using a store-bought grout haze remover.

Linoleum adhesive is quite stubborn, so you may have to try several different methods for removal. You can start with a wallpaper steamer and steam it off or add laundry detergent to water and let it soak into the adhesive. You can try paint thinner directly on the adhesive for about 10 minutes and then wipe away.

You do not have to remove lead paint if the surface is not chipping or peeling or if there are no pregnant people or children under the age of six who live in or regularly visit your home. Lead paint is a particular risk for young children whose brains and bodies are not fully developed. Experts strongly recommend that you call a pro to remove lead paint if it’s peeling or flaking, no matter who lives in the home. You can experience lead poisoning by breathing in or ingesting just a small amount of it.

Most handy homeowners can tackle removing texture from unpainted walls. Removing texture from painted walls is a bit trickier. Paint acts as a sealant, so you can’t soften the texture with water.
