Really great service and a beautiful job!

Jim Cavanaugh stained our fence for us. We are so pleased with the final product. We've already had numerous compliments from our neighbors and people just walking by our property. Am so pleased. Jim painted several rooms in our home and again, we are so pleased with how each room now looks. Most of all, we are so grateful for Jim's professionalism from the start through the finish including the clean up. We would recommend Jim highly. As a fact, we already have!

Lots of people have good experiences with Jimmy, but I did not. He was painting the exterior of my house. He gave me a quote in the winter, and I thought I understood what parts of the house he was going to paint and trusted the quote he gave me. It wasn't until the last day of the painting, when the crew was leaving and said they were done, that I realized we were on completely different pages. It was deeply upsetting, and when I spoke with Jimmy about it he insisted that he had done everything correctly and offered to charge me more money to make it right. He seems to have good technical skills, but what was missing was: the sense that we had shared visions for the house, the communication/education skills to ensure that we were consistently on the same page, and the relational skills to find a solution that worked for both of us.

My husband and I just bought a house and needed most of the interior painted, we found Jimmy on Angie’s and we couldn’t be happier with the job he did! He was professional, flexible, and got our home done in about 5 days! He took care to make sure the colors matched the existing walls and asked us before making any decisions. He also made sure to clean up his painting equipment at the end of each day and left our home clean! We will definitely be using him again for our painting needs in the future!

Jimmy added a wall to my basement (framing, sheetrock, tape and mud, and paint). He worked conscientiously and quickly and finished ahead of schedule, and I’m very happy with the results. He was pleasant, polite, and great at communicating, making sure to ask each day if I had any questions or concerns. He was on-time each day and left the work area very clean. The whole experience exceeded my expectations. I will for sure hire him again and recommend him to others.

Highly recommend. We were looking for a painter for the stucco (upper) portion of our 2-story home and our two car garage. During the bid process Jimmy was impressively responsive to (and patient with) our questions. He provided the most detailed written breakdown of his proposed costs and was thorough and authoritative in his answers. We had to coordinate timing with a roofing company and a gutter company, and during the lead up to our project he remained responsive to planning communications. He not only stuck to his proposed schedule but worked with understanding and good will around difficulties caused by one of the other companies' failure to meet their own schedule. His work was thorough and professional and he remained responsive all the way through the final touch ups and cleanup. Would hire again and may have need to do so again soon for another project.

I am very happy with my newly painted garage! The quality of work is top notch. Everything was clear from the start, no surprises! Jimmy was onsite each day monitoring the project and was always prompt in answering questions. I look forward to future projects!
