"I highly recommend Northland Fence. They make building a fence easy! They are truly fence professionals starting from the initial meeting with the design specialist to the fence crew and the office staff plus they have a great website that includes a video of how the fence is constructed. When I first saw my finished fence I was amazed! Northland Fence exceeded my expectations! Now I have a great, high quality fence with a 10 year warranty!"

"Hidden Fence was a lifesaver! With a 10 year old Great Dane, and a one-year-old mini Aussie, we moved to a new home with the system already installed. HFOMN were easy to get ahold of and were informative and responsive. They were able to widen the boundaries to fit our needs, and while the training in the first week was certainly time consuming, the result was well worth it! I am extremely pleased, and would recommend to all pet owners that don’t want a physical fence, but also don’t believe in tying up their fur-babies. My pooches are so much more calm when neighbors pass, and they respect their boundaries. Thank you, Hidden Fence of Minnesota!"
"Max and the team at Ridgeline Fence and Deck were incredibly efficient and put up a beautiful cedar fence around my home. From the customer service to the craftsmanship and attention to detail, everything turned out spectacular. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a fence in the twin cities / greater metro area!"
"We moved into a new home in a area and needed a privacy fence installed. Central Fence contacted us, came out and looked at the job and started within 2 weeks like they had promised. They completed the project within 3 days and we could not be more happier with the job that they did. Troy, Heather and the other members of his crew were always polite and cleaned up after themselves. I asked for an addition of some corrugated metal last minute and it was not an issue and it looks amazing. We highly recommend Central Fence, you won't be disappointed."
"Very happy with owner, salesman, and work crew. They rescued me after another contractor started the fence, then walked off the job. They put up most of the fence in the winter, put up temporary fence in the spots that could not be done due to the season, then returned in the spring to finish. They were very considerate of my indecisiveness by making suggestions that would fit my needs. They were very tolerant of, and pleasant to, my two obnoxious dogs. Since the fence has been in place, three different people have stopped to ask me who did the fence, because it looks so nice from the street."
"Working with Artistic Fence was a great experience. We needed a fence that could contain a dog that can climb chain link, but didn't want a privacy fence to cut us off from our neighbors. Amy from Artistic Fence came and looked over our property, talked about our options for our fence, and wrote out a bid right there. She answered all my questions, and was very helpful and professional. Their bid came in on the low end of the quotes we got. Their building timeline was reasonable, even though it was the busy season for new fences, and the folks that came to build the fence where prompt, and impressively efficient. The fence is exactly what we hoped for, and is beautifully done. We couldn't be happier with it. I really recommend Artistic Fence.
Update: A few months after the fence was installed, a few of the wooden caps that cover the fence posts began to split, assumedly because of water. I called them, they sent someone out, and replaced the broken parts free of charge under the warranty."
"This is my second time using American Fence. The first was a cedar batton board privacy fence at a rental property I own. The second was brown vinyl chain link and galvanized chain link at my residential home. Overall the installation of both fences was tremendous. Everything went on schedule and in the manner which I was told it would. I was able to purchase both fences at a cost of roughly 10% less than other bids I had recieved. There was a downpayment paid for all material. Final payment, however, was not given until after completion and a final walk-thru. Upon conclusion my yard was so clean it seemed they had not even been there. I could not have been more satisfied. The owner of the company worked side by side with his employees, always something refreshing to see in my opinion. They were also very helpful and polite toward me and my family.
Yes, installing a picket fence is a manageable DIY project for homeowners with basic tools and some patience. The process involves marking the fence line, digging post holes, setting the posts, and attaching horizontal rails and pickets. However, precision is key to ensure the fence is straight and sturdy, which can be challenging for beginners. If the fence line is long, the ground is uneven, or you’re working with more complex materials like metal or composite, hiring a pro may be a better option.
Fabricating an aluminum fence costs about $4,350 on average, ranging from about $2,450 to $6,500. Your fencing costs can run as low as $750 or as high as $11,000 or more, depending on the fence's size, complexity, and geographic location. You should consider additional cost factors including the thickness of the aluminum, height of the fence, necessary permits, and custom colors.
Rabbits are remarkable jumpers, capable of leaping to impressive heights. Generally, they can jump up to 2 to 3 feet vertically, thanks to their strong hind legs and muscular build. This exceptional jumping ability isn't just for fun—it helps them escape predators and reach vegetation otherwise out of their reach. Their agility and power make them one of the animal kingdom's most agile jumpers, adapting their natural talents to navigate their environment with finesse.
Issues include rust, loose posts, and damaged mesh. Regular maintenance prevents significant problems.
The regulations for pool fence heights vary by state, so be sure to research what the legal, minimum height is in your area before purchasing or installing a fence. Though every region is different, generally a pool fence must be at least 4 and ½ feet high. If you’re unsure whether you need a fence around your pool, and how high that fence should be, contact a local pool enclosure expert to help you successfully, and safely, move forward.
