I made my choice of going with a full maintenance which was very reasonable and he immediately began working on the problem and resolved in an hour remotely. He noted if they found there was a need for different virus software he would let us know. He provided recommendations on software we had that was not needed and may cause problems and gave some good general tips. He deleted the unnecessary software and noted that the Windows operating software now has these features built in. He did not feel we needed to purchase any different virus software. "I engaged Sam Solberg, an independent contractor specializing in technical equipment installation and owner of GeoSync Communication, to install equipment at my residence. Upon arrival, Mr. Solberg appeared visibly displeased and offered minimal acknowledgment. I specifically requested installation at the roof peak to avoid obstructions. He dismissed this as a common misconception among non-technical individuals and insisted on placing the equipment at the side corner of the house. Since installation, I have experienced persistent WiFi connectivity issues. Diagnostic tools confirm signal obstruction caused by the adjacent roof peak. Multiple attempts to contact Mr. Solberg regarding relocation have gone unanswered. I strongly advise against retaining GeoSync Communication or Sam Solberg for any technical installation services. "

"Les returned my call and actually suggested that I could call another company that they recommend for potentially quicker service for drain issues. I wasn't in a hurry (out of the house) and had been happy with Zell in the past so I decided to wait (the wait was due to my needs as well as their availability). Les made two calls to confirm and showed up on time. He went right to work and got through the gunk that must have been pretty far down the pipe (traps were clear). "I had a disposal unit on its last legs, so bought a new one and had Norblom Plumbing come out to install. Before they got to the appointment, I got things ready for them by cleaning out stuff under the sink and unboxing the disposal. There I discovered I had a problem in that the unit had a 3 prong plug and my old disposal was hard wired electrically to the unit. So, I get to Angie's list and found Thor Electric in Lakeville. I probably could have done this myself, but at 65, like with the disposal, I hated the thought of being under the sink as I have done in the past. Plus, I probably would not have put the heavy duty outlet on that Kyle did and it would not have been right to code, so glad I did not do it... I called Kyle and he said he could stop over later the same day and possibly fit me in. I had called the plumbing company meanwhile and cancelled because of the problem. Kyle told me just use an extension on the disposal till I get there to do the outlet. I don't know why I or the plumbing company did not think of that, but I called them back and they had filled my appointment, but could come out at the next appointment, which was open because of me. So the plumber came, did his thing (review of Norbloom Plumbing if interested) and then Kyle came and put in the new outlet.Kyle was friendly, efficient, and fitted me in on short notice, which was great. I could give a grade of C on price, but as I said in my review of Norblom Plumbing, I am a little out of touch with how much these guys cost now, and they cost some dough to come out to your house and do a service call, fact of life like doctors and taxes. I always say i think it is better to have a skill/trade rather than 4 years to college and not know what you want to do. As an airline pilot/instructor/FAA Examiner I had both college and a skill that is hard to duplicate unless you have the experience. Same with these guys, they have a skill to analyze a problem and fix the problem correctly born over years of experience. They get paid for it, thus the A..."
