"Rivetts Tree Service went above and beyond what I had imagined! I canâ t recommend them enough - and they will be our go-to tree service company from here on out! First off, I had not planned well for their arrival.. but before I could even get my shoes on, the crew were moving all our â lawn ornamentsâ (aka garbage cans, grills, lawn chairs, toys, and even heavy objects I wasnâ t able to move myself!) without complaint! Matter of fact, they were so easy to talk to - we were laughing together by the time it was cleared! When we hired Rivetts Tree Service, we had planned for the removal of a very large tree between lot lines. However, when I talked with the crew about my concerns/questions of removal vs trimming, they listened intently and were so so informative! After 20 minutes of us talking â treesâ (yes, 20 minutes!), we decided to trim the large tree (yay!!). They were so flexible with the change of plans - and Iâ m so grateful! Now, this is the cherry on top! After they had beautifully trimmed our large tree, I asked Justin (lead crew) for a quote of more tree removal/trimming on our lot. We walked around the yard for at least ten minutes! He diagnosed our plum tree, made winter plans for our oak, and gave info/opinions about my ideas. (Have I mentioned how great Rivetts Tree Service is?!) Once we decided on a plan, Justin tells me they will COME BACK (they were already loaded to head to another site!)- SAME DAY! Itâ s the day after having Rivetts Tree Service at our home, and I canâ t stop looking at our newly trimmed trees! I love them! Rivetts Tree Service is truly the best out there - they are informative, talented, courteous, go out of their way, and I very seriously had a great time learning from them! If you are in need of tree service, Rivetts Tree Service is the place! You will not be disappointed!"

"AAA Tree Pros did an excellent job removing 2 diseased ash trees from our property. They offered a fair price, scheduled the work very quickly, and handled everything safely and professionally. The crew removed the trees, hauled away all the wood, and ground the stumps thoroughly. The cleanup was great as well. Very happy with the service and would definitely recommend them."

"I had two large pine trees on opposite sides of my backyard removed. The work started around 9:30 including dropping power lines and was totally finished and cleaned up by 1:30. Very honest, courteous and professional owner <>< and worker. Kept me informed of progress . Did a nice job cleaning up all wood and debris. I thought the cost was very reasonable and was very satisfied with the work overall. I highly recommend New Life & Stump for tree removal. My only complication was that the access to my lake home back yard had to come thru a neighborâ  s front yard. The ground is soft and sandy and turf disturbance was just part of the deal. The front end loader made pretty deep tracks from the street to the back yard and will require some repair especially around the working area by the one of the trees. (Having replaced a septic field , knew what to expect.). So this is nothing against New Life & Stump. Just be aware of possible lawn damage, as with any heavy machinery."

"I hired SFCterrainworks to remove several large trees and to remove a large brush pile. Excellent work all around! Very considerate through every step and very competitive pricing. I have used other contractors in the past for comparison. I highly recommend SFCTerrainworks."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Ivy eventually kills trees by restricting its growth, blocking sunlight, absorbing nutrients and water from the soil, and weakening the tree. Trees with ivy are more likely to experience diseases, pests, rot, and fungi growth. When ivy weighs down tree branches, the tree is more likely to break during a storm and cause damage.

Steer clear of the area and contact your utility company immediately. It will have a website portal and/or a phone number to report downed trees and electrical issues. If the tree appears to be on public land, you may want to call your local government and report the issue there, too.

If you ever want to see the literal fruits of your labor, you’ll need to prune your peach trees. Without pruning, the trees may not grow or bear fruit since the nutrients will be divided among too many offshoots to provide any with enough energy to produce the peaches. Plus, if parts of the peach tree become diseased or pest-ridden, pruning can nip those problems in the bud.

Signs include dead branches, growth over structures, diseases, pests, or roots impacting hardscapes.

Make sure the tree roots soak around a day before you dig the tree up for the transplant. Keep the roots wet while the tree is above ground. After the transplant is finished, provide consistent water every day for the first month or so. You don’t want to overwater the tree, but you do want to keep the roots wet so they can thrive in their new environment.
