"We had just moved into a new house and ran the dishwasher for the first time only to find water seeping out all over the hardwood floors!  We ran one more load just to be sure it was the dishwasher, which it was.  We called two companies for a quote.  I left a message with SOS, but they returned my call probably within 15 minutes.  The gal on the phone was extremely helpful.  She told me what it would cost for the service call and then explained the Angie's List discount, which I had already seen online.  Whereas the other company was scheduling a whole week out, she said they happened to have a serviceman, Cory, who was in a neighboring town and who was finishing his work route early that day, so he had one more opening.  He was at our house within 20 minutes.  He got on the floor and discovered right away that the drain hose was cracked and needed to be replaced.  We approved the repair and he had it up and running, including testing for leaks with the new hose installed, within an hour.  We ran another load tonight and there's no leaking.  Thank you, Cory!"

"I had Service Today! complete two separate projects for me. First, I had an ice dam fall on my A/C condenser last winter and needed repair/replacement for an insurance claim. Second, I replaced my old water heater and boiler with a new combined tankless boiler & water heater unit. This involved complete repiping in the basement since I was also moving the mechanicals as part of a basement renovation. It was a large and complicated project, and ServiceToday! was awesome. Shout outs to Blake, Randy, Dave, Marc, Willy, and the rest who were part of the project. Like I said, it was pretty complicated and their team was always professional, friendly, courteous, and took pride in their work. I also love that they are diligent about calling 20-30 minutes before arrival so I don't have to sit at home waiting during a 2-hour window like I've frequently done with other service providers. Also, the latter project was an expensive one ($20k+) but their pricing was competitive and fair, and they have great financing options available. Would 100% use them again."

"Service couldn't have been better.  Mike (I think his name was) was very professional.  He arrived while my wife was home and uninstalled the old water softener, installed a new water softener ($480), and connected the water line to the freezer's ice maker ($100).
All of this took a few hours.  By the time I arrived home from work, he was finished and showed me how to work the new water softener.

"Jim did a great job. He quickly assessed the problem and then took our unit with him to work on it more. When he got back to us, the fix would have cost more than it was worth. He gave us options for a new or refurbished PC. We felt the refurbished was a good deal and chose that. He came back and set that up and we are very happy with it. He then took a look at my laptop and again took it along. He tuned it up and installed a speed upgrade we wanted. Of course, we paid extra for the new unit and upgrades, but we thought the price was very fair. Jim seemed very knowledgeable and responsive. We will definitely call him again if we need any computer services."

"After getting a bid from Cady this summer, I hired them to do some work on my house (clean gutters, install gutter covers I'd purchased and fix a piece of siding). They agreed to do the work on September 10 at 1:00 p.m. They didn't show, and they didn't return my calls over the next couple of days. I felt they wasted my time. "We first hired Paul in 2011 to handle the 'restoration' of a cedar sided greenhouse attached to our home (both exterior and interior). Paul is unusually effective in his ability to assess a project, anticipate what will be required, articulate the  project scope in a clear and concise proposal and keep the customer informed and aware every step of the way (i.e. no surprises).  Each of our three projects presented unique and often challenging aspects---project # 1 required judgement calls on evaluating the scope of the project  (e.g. how much siding/soffit material required replacement); managing angles and elevations that were problematic at best, and somehow meetIng a deadline so the painting company could proceed on schedule (remember June and all that rain--).  Project #2 required regrading the ground beneath the deck and installing ledger flashing to resolve a water leakage problem. Project #3 , well, it's our garden!  Details are everything, and Paul managed to deliver beyond our expectations.
