President, Erik Peterson, worked installing asphalt during the summers while completing a degree in civil engineering at the University of Minnesota in the spring of 1978. Dave Swanson, Vice President, was one of the founding members of Asphalt Specialties Co. The company originally provided residential asphalt installations only. It grew throughout the years by providing exceptional quality of product and service, developing a residential marketing system and adding concrete and retaining walls to the product mix.
