"I provide childcare. The grass or lack of grass in my play yard was annoying. Weeds and dirt where there should have been grass was a BIG eyesore. I got a bid from Everlasting Turf and decided to go with artificial grass in my play yard. Jerry was very professional, got to the job in 2 weeks and kept me up to date on everything..... The play yard has been done for two days and it s like night and day. The kids are loving running across the grass, playing and having a great time. I don t have to worry about weeds and dirt anymore so thank you very much Jerry. I have been sharing his website with other childcare providers, well worth it..."

"This was our second time hiring L & R, and based on our first experience at a previous home years earlier, we expected -- and had -- another great experience this time. Up front, Lyle came out for multiple visits to talk through many details, desires and ideas, and produced a very nice printed design with details on all plant selections. The bid was detailed and clear. When the crew arrived, they worked hard, took great care in their work, put up with my very detail-oriented oversight, respected our property and overall did a terrific job. Lyle came out on a regular basis to check on progress and talk through any concerns or adjustments. The end result realized just about everything we had envisioned. We're so excited to enjoy our new yard and see our new plants develop and flourish over the years to come! Thanks L & R!"

"I hired Clark Companies to do grading, bury gutter down spouts, and install decorative rock around my house. They did a great job, finished up in a day, and planted seed to restore the grass that was unavoidably disturbed. Iâ m very pleased, highly recommend Clark Companies and would use them in the future."

"If you are going to need mulch, make sure that you order it in advance because if it is not put down after the weed spray they will charge you again for spraying - wish I had been advised of this I talked with the company and we got it all figured out. Their customer service is great!"

Brush Chipping questions, answered by experts

Pruning bushes will encourage new growth and flowering and keep them hardy. Removing dead and diseased branches is vital to your bush's health. It can also deter pests from infesting your bushes. Not only is it beneficial to the bushes, trimming and shaping them will make your lawn look lush and polished.

To remove a shrub, start by cutting back the shrub using pruning shears, loppers, or a chainsaw. Next, dig around the base of the shrub with a pointed shovel to expose its root system. Then, use a shovel or a mattock to loosen the roots, making it easier to pull or lift the shrub from the ground. For larger shrubs or stubborn root systems, attaching a chain or strap to the base and using a vehicle to pull it out can be effective. Ensure proper disposal of the shrub and its debris following local waste disposal guidelines.

The most effective way to remove leaves is to blow them into piles and then bag them. This is faster and more efficient than raking, although it might not be a good idea to use a blower around delicate plants or mulched flower beds. You could leaf blow the bulk of your yard and then rake around garden beds for a quick and easy fall cleanup.

Yes, renting a dumpster is one of the most effective ways to remove yard waste. The average cost to rent a dumpster is $400 per week, but it usually costs less for yard waste removal because you should only need a small dumpster. A more cost-effective alternative is to use dumpster bags for yard removal, especially when clearing lighter debris like leaves, branches, grass clippings, and weeds.

This depends on how many leaves there are. Mowing over dry and crisp leaves with a bagging attachment saves most homeowners a lot of time. If you have a smaller lawn and few leaves to mulch, you can put the leaves into a stand-alone mulcher resembling a wood chipper and collect the mulch from a hopper. This prevents having to do multiple passes with a mower.
