Trevor was part of the team when we were finishing a kitchen remodel in 2014.  At that time we had him open a space in a wall for a future cabinet, but not cut through the wall until we knew what we wanted.  We figured out what would work best and asked him to finish the wall cut-out and smooth the sides so the new cabinet will fit.  While Trevor cut the drywall, his helper vacuumed up all the dust.  They also moved a storage unit to another room.  Trevor also answered some questions I had about a problem outside. 

They were done with everything within 40 min and no dust or drywall fragments remained.  I'm sure he will return to help with some other job in the future.

I was really hesitant after the estimate but he just kept pushing about it and I didn't have any other options - but I was sorry afterwards. "Had Greene Construction install egress window in basement. Estimator was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain every option and detail. Installers were professional. They answered all my questions and made some alterations to where the extra dirt was put and provided extra tarps to cover the dirt in case of rain. Clint arrived on time for our sales call. He was prepared with information and samples and provided guidance when needed.  We wanted to think about the purchase, since it was an expensive shade option - he did try really hard to get us to make a decision before he left.  I wasn't crazy about that - it felt pushy.  Clint was very upfront about the cost being more than most awning companies, but he did all the measuring and the product is a quality product.  We liked the product and the Angie's List discount that was offered, so we called him back within a couple of weeks and made the purchase. 

The installers arrived on time and were very careful to remove all the deck furniture before starting work. They cleaned up after themselves and put the furniture back when finished.

Our awning is quite large - 30 feet long.  It does a great job of shading our deck and looks very nice.  It's motorized; the wind sensor is great since it almost takes care of itself. We would definitely get an awning again and would recommend this company

"I had called the company about a leak in my porch roof. They had replaced this roof back in 2005, so I knew it wasn’t cover under warranty, but wanted to have it checked it out and get an estimate for the repair work as needed.
Jeff inspected the roof and said he couldn’t see any damage or deterioration, but went back up on the roof for a closer look. (The roof is a flat roof, with a slight slope, so doesn’t have shingles….) He took a tube of filler/sealer up there, and patched a few spots he thought might be the problem. That did the trick! I haven’t had any additional leaks into the porch, even after several very heavy rainfalls in the last few days.
Jeff was very professional and courteous in responding to my call. He could have just brushed me off after his initial inspection, seeing it as a “not worthwhile project”, but he didn’t. He treated me like a valued customer, even though I haven’t called his company in 9 years, and I greatly appreciate it. I will definitely call Advanced Home Improvements the next time I have a home improvement project.
