"Dave got going on job right away. Finished faster than I expected want to say 3 or 4 days. His price was lower than the other two companies quoted. His guys especially Bryan are very skilled in drywall very good knife skills when it came to laying mud down. They had very good work ethics they did not mess around. I am retired so I tried to give them coffee and donuts and water everyday but it was hard to get them to take a break. They jumped right into it as soon as the door opened and did not stop. And lastly we are on time. I am very pleased."

"We hired him to do a smooth finish on the drywall. For the most part that is what we received. You can see the seams on the living room and kitchen areas which we were not happy about. He cleaned up most of the mess when he left. We had to ask him to please let us know when he would be coming or if he would be coming so we could plan out our day. All in all we felt he did an ok job."

"Very professional. Wonderful to work with. We hired them to put an addition on our home. They did everything very well : foundation, building the rooms, putting in insulation, drywall, painting, flooring, windows, roofing, plumbing, framing doors and windows, ductwork. They even built raised flower bed structures to go around the outside of the new addition. They are a very talented and skilled company."

"Hired for a basement drywall job. Very attentive to my needs considering I was on a tight schedule with short notice. Luke and his team were fantastic at what they do, and great guys also. I ended up hiring him to install a deop ceiling that turned out amazing as well. Would not hesitate to hire again!"

"We have had Mirsad working for us for 3 years now and we are very happy that we ask him to help us. We are a retired couple who cannot longer do the things ourselves. Most other Handyman give exorbitant estimates and lax in showing up. Mirsad shows up when he says he would which is very important for us when we need things to be done. He has fixed many things around our house, including furniture assembling, pictures hanging, minor plumbing, installing handicap railings, landscaping, fixing doors, installing shelves and many more things that we needed. We are blessed to know him and highly recommend him."

Drywall questions, answered by experts

While textured walls can elevate a space in many ways, there are a couple of downsides to consider. Namely, they’re hard to clean, and some textures fall out of fashion quickly. Make sure to consider all your options to find one you truly love before diving in.

It’s always better to follow proven drywall repair tips and fix the seams that look bad. However, if you simply want to make them less noticeable until you have time to fix them, you can use paint. A darker color of paint makes bad drywall tape seams less noticeable than light-colored paint. Matte paint hides bad seams better than glossy paint does, too.

When sanding drywall mud, you’re going to create a very fine dust that may contain silica. Silica dust contains crystalline silica, which can cause long-term illnesses for people who inhale it in significant quantities. Wear a mask while sanding drywall. Then dampen a drywall sponge to wipe the dust off the drywall, helping to reduce the amount of dust that may become airborne.

Drywall texture refers to the techniques used on the surface of drywall to create a pleasing visual or tactile effect. Depending on your desired outcome, drywall texture can range from incredibly subtle to a focal point of a room. Textures play a significant role in interior design and are an excellent and relatively cost-effective way to change the feeling of a room.

The cost to install drywall is between $1.50 and $3 per square foot, while shiplap installation costs between $2 and $7 on average. In most applications, shiplap installations cost more than that of putting in drywall. However, several ways exist to reduce shiplap prices, especially for small locations or accent walls, which can keep the total cost of shiplap competitive with that of drywall.
