We don't sub-contract any work. Any job for $500 or more comes with a written contract and no additional payment will be sought. Normal payment is half-down and the rest at completion of the job.

"Lenny and his team were outstanding! Very easy to work with and scheduled us quickly. Didn’t try selling us on anything more than what we needed which was refreshing because we had so many people quote us work that was not needed."

1-6 employees other information available upon request, all work by contract, payment procedure depending on size of job, no credit cards accepted at this time, all large projects will be bonded by all parties. License info available at Michigan state web site. I use USA made materials whenever possible or as spec per job.

"Wouldn’t recommend this company! The boulder wall that they did for us wasn’t done correctly causing water retention around it and onto the pavers nearby and soil coming thru many areas between the boulders. The spill behind the boulders was eroding away. Communication from Bob (the owner) was terrible and he failed to follow thru on multiple occasions. Have had to have boulder wall rebuilt by another company within a year."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

There’s no way around it—a burst pipe is often a homeowner’s worst nightmare, and the situation can range from semi-serious to dire. If you don’t catch the leak, it can lead to thousands of dollars worth of water damage.

At best, you’ll notice a burst pipe quickly, turn off your water supply, and use a wet vacuum to clean up minor flooding. A plumber can repair the pipe, and you won’t be left with a major bill. At worst, severe water damage can collapse floors, ceilings, walls, and foundations, sometimes leading to major repairs and renovations.

The lifespan of bathroom pipes is between 20 and 100 years. This is a wide range, so to narrow it down, it helps to know which type of material your pipes are made from. Copper and cast iron have the longest lifespan—between 50 and 100 years—while other materials, such as galvanized steel and brass, last for 50 years or less.

Depending on the amount of hair you’ve got in the drain, the baking soda and vinegar method can help break it down. If that doesn’t work, you can try using a drain snake. If you don’t have a snake handy, you can straighten out a wire hanger and use pliers to fish out the clog.

The overflow drain and wastewater drain connect to the same main pipe to take water away from your bathtub. Your overflow drain is meant to prevent damage to your bathroom—especially the floor around your bathtub, where excess water can quickly create a mold or mildew problem.

Pipes most often burst during winter and early spring because those seasons experience the coldest temperatures that can freeze pipes. Pipes typically begin to freeze when the outside temperature falls below 20 degrees Fahrenheit—but it’s not a hard and fast rule.

The largest risk is any period of time when outdoor temperatures fall below freezing for six hours or more. That’s an average winter night in many areas of the United States, so it’s best to take precautions before winter begins, like insulating your pipes.
