My journey into interior decorating and home staging began with a genuine love for design that I've carried since childhood. Growing up, I was always rearranging rooms, experimenting with colors, and finding ways to make spaces feel welcoming and beautiful. Friends and family often sought my help to transform their own homes, whether it was creating a cozy room or preparing a house to appeal to buyers. Realizing how much joy I found in helping others bring their visions to life, I knew it was time to turn this passion into something more. I decided to start my own business, where I could not only decorate but also offer home staging services. Now, I get to combine creativity with strategy, creating spaces that feel personal and designing homes that stand out in the real estate market. Each project is an opportunity to bring warmth, style, and functionality to the homes of my clients.

"Order arrived quickly - all in good condition. Have been using them for quite a while now. I love that the pieces lock together magnetically - so no sliding around. You can choose your colors: top and bottom. You do the measuring - they have instructions on how to do that - and it is very simple. Their order department was very accommodating when I called. Would definitely order from them."

"Had a burned cable smell in our house. I looked up for an electrician on Angie's List and and randomly picked this company and called them. There were very responsive. They came over in around 20 minutes. This is great! A for responsiveness and punctuality. They started checking each power outlet in the house to locate the root cause. After spending an hour, they found a box with a loose wire and fixed it. The smell diminished and eventually went away after their service. So, they deserve A for Quality. 
One thing I did not like was the ridiculous amount of time they spend on insignificant tasks. I had a light switch that was warmer than usual so they wanted to measured the temperature of the switch using the laser thermometer I gave them. They spent around 10-15 min to get a reading on the thermometer. Eventually they gave up because the thermometer did not return any meaningful value. Their time is very expensive so every minute they spend should be spent efficiently , effectively and professionally. 
Finally they finished their work, packed their tool box and left the house. They both got in the van and sat there for around 15-20 minutes. Then one them got out of the van to bring me the invoice. Checking the invoice carefully, I realized they charged me for the time they sat in the van and write up the invoice which should not have taken more than 5 min to begin with. Preparing an invoice is not an electrical service, it is an administrative service. Therefore, I find it unacceptable to charge the client the top dollar for filling out paperwork. Almost every company I worked with send their invoice by mail after they provide the service. The ones that need to charge for the service on premises do it very quickly and do not charge me for the paperwork time. I find this both unethical and unprofessional. 
Customer support was somehow helpful and agreed to reimburse for a portion of it."

"When wolverine came out, it turned out we needed more work done than initially thought. We had a new weather head installed, new electrical panel, meter, and wiring going from the meter to the panel. The work was done very well and quick. The only issue we experienced is after getting done, we were told to wait for a city inspector to come out and once he gave it the go ahead, consumers energy would turn the power back on. Turns out nobody scheduled an inspector. Thankfully the line technician from consumers energy hooked our power back up anyway, otherwise we would have had no power in a home with two senior citizens in extremely high temperatures for 3-4 days (Friday-Monday). We have an inspector supposed to be here on Tuesday now, so we'll see how it goes from there."

"He said to me, don't focus on the wiring just watch the TV instead. I waited three days later, went to Home Depot and purchase a white stick post and just layed it over the wirer because he nailed and tacked everything to the wall. Its working out, that's how it's going."

"     In order to complete to layout design I submitted a drawing of the room as well as a series of photos.  The website for Homemade design has a questionaire what helps define your overall tastes in design.  I joined Pinterest and started boards for furniture, lighting, bookshelves which were reviewed.  Homemade design comes to New York periodically to meet with clients not in the Boston area and this gave us a chance to meet and select furniture and upholstery at the New York Design center.  This is an extra charge but well worth it since I was completely overwhelmed.  They were extremely patient and guided me through the process.  At one point I decided to move the television which turned out to be a bad idea -- they explained why it would not worked and I concurred competely after I understood the reasons.  So, they are not afraid to tell you if you going down the wrong road. I live in a New York City townhouse and forget that I do not have a whol lot of space even though my house is huge for NYC. So, I had to be told how to "scale" everything to the space we had to work with, which was helpful
I purchased the service several months ago but was not ready to actually decide on the actual purchases until recently. So, the delay in completion is because of my schedule.  I now hope to finish everything by September.
