Received a quote within a week. The tree limbs were removed and debris taken away within a week of accepting the contract.

They did ok with a lot of my trees. But I had one tree they fertilized that was dead in 2018 & 2019. In 2018, the person told me it was alive & could rebound with fertilization. In April 2020 the tree looked the same, dead. First they said they'd refund for all of that tree's fertilization for 2 years - I didn't bother to mention that they actually started fertilizing in 2018 (so I actually paid for 3 years) just to keep it simple. Long story short, after they agreed to repay for the 2 years, I had to hound them for the refund for literally 3 months, over probably 20 phone calls. They finally refunded me for 1 year (2020), which they did not fertilize due to the tree still being dead. I'd never spend time on this nonsense, except the tree was obviously dead to me and other landscapers (except for Winkler's, who said it was alive), and they agreed to refund me for 2 years. For the principle of it, I continued hounding them to finally get 1 year's refund (only for the fertilization they didn't perform). That tree was dead from the start and they never should have spent an ounce of fertilizer on it. WHAT A PAIN THEY PUT ME THROUGH - THEY SHOULD HAVE PAID ME ADDITIONAL MONEY FOR THE HOURS I SPENT ON THE PHONE HOUNDING THEM.

I received 4 bids for the work I wanted done. Winkler came in the lowest. I was pleased with their bid and the eventual work they performed. Four men did the work and they brought along impressive equipment which really sped up the operation. I was impressed with their professionalism. Each man knew his roll and wasted no time. Two men climbed the Osage trees which are dangerous due to their thorniness. I got a kick out of one worker as he swung via rope from one tree to another. The tall River Birches were precisely cut down. There were power lines, my house and delicate landscape features that had to be avoided. No damage. Great job completed in about 4 hours. They received a tip.

They were great. 3 guys took care of the 2 trees and 1 stump. They were very careful were branches landed. They did a great job of cleaning up branches when done.

Have used Winkler before - best price and overall did a good job. Only reason for giving them a "B" is that it took about a month for them to actually come out and do the job and they didn't clean up as well as they did the first time I used them. Was it bad - no, just not as good as last time. I would definitely consider hiring them again for any tree service.

Winkler Tree and Landscaping has to be the best in the business. The price was very good but the service was excellent. Very professional crew. The tree was close to the house and I wanted it removed to prevent any possible damage. They removed it without any damage to surrounding buildings or shrub's. The stump was ground down well below grade making replanting easy. The yard and area was cleaned up. Hardly knew they were there. Extremely professional staff from the quote, to the office staff to the actual removal team. Totaly satisfied.

We've used Winkler's Tree Service several times now. When you call they send a knowledgeable person out right away. Pat gives you advice on how much to trim the trees back. Plus the workmen they send out are very polite and they double check with you on what they are supposed to trim. They totally clean everything up before they leave. I would highly recommend them.

The crew arrived exactly on time at 8:00. All trees were trimmed as contracted, the wood was chipped and the crew cleaned up everything. After the work was done, the supervisor walked the property with us to make sure all work was done to our satisfaction. Everything was done to our specifications.

I would recommend them, they did everything I asked them to do.
