"Thorn apple River Plumbing was the first to respond, however, I choose another provider, which was my mistake. When the other company did not show for the book time, not respond to my query, I contacted Thornapple River again, to see if they would help me. That responded immediately, agreed to do the project and wet a time. He let me know when he was on his way to my home, advised my project wasn’t as complicated as I had anticipated, completed quickly for less than quoted. "If I could give less than one star I would. Hired Alvie to replace a porch and install some new exterior doors. He bid the job, took the 50% deposit and I chased him for weeks to start. Didn’t purchase supplies he quoted and I paid for. Rarely showed up when he said he would. Tons of excuses. Asked for gas money to come work on my job Then wanted more money before job was completed. The work done was not as agreed or quoted. Finally ended up firing him. Have to hire someone else to finish work"
