Instead of using a diamond saw for a clean $400 straight cut, they took a shortcut that ruined the piece. The tile broke jaggedly, so they tried to hide the damage by burying the break line under piles of caulk and extra material. Now, the fracture is "leaking" through the mess. Worse, they left a metal tool inside the assembly, blocking water flow. While the drain placement was okay, the plumbing is now a disaster.
