"The men who did the remodel were great. Even when they had to go back to the base to get shower doors because they were not in the materials. One stayed and did more while the other got the doors. The salesman was nice but wasnâ  t prepared with the materials he needed. I do like my shower though no more fear of falling, climbing over the tub."

"My wife and I hired Luxury Bath Mobility Remodelers to design and install a custom 4x6 walk in shower plus a complete remodel of our bathroom. Shane and his crew did an awesome job. They got the job finished right on schedule as promised. Their work is second to none they were always right on time when they said they would be here and always did a great job with the clean up. I definitely would recommend this company for any remodels!"

"I am so happy with my new tub. It was in such terrible condition that I wondered if it could be fixed but Tom did a fantastic job. He protected the other parts of the room and he had to scrape all the old glaze that was put on years ago. He took off the shower doors also, so he had to scrape all the gunk off from them. I am very pleased with his workmanship and he cleaned up and left the room is excellent shape. He was pleasant and his price was fair and reasonable too."

"So, I hired these guys for a more focused alternative to these bigger companies. The price was reasonable AND they fixed what the previous contractors did at no extra cost. Not only would I hire them again, I?m thinking I?ll have them for all the properties I buy."

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

The cost of making a bathroom accessible can be $3,000 to $25,000, but you could spend as much as $50,000 building a brand-new ADA-compliant bathroom. Some bathroom accessibility upgrades to consider include:

  • Installing grab bars: $100–$500

  • Lowering cabinets and vanities: $1,200–$2,500

  • Installing modified doors: $700–$1,500

  • Installing a modified toilet: $400–$1,000

  • Installing an accessible sink and faucet: $100–$1,000

  • Adding a walk-in tub: $1,100–$17,000

  • Converting a bathtub into a walk-in tub: $350–$1,000

  • Installing a wheelchair-accessible shower: $2,000–$7,500

  • Installing a shower ramp: $16–$300

A $50,000 home remodeling budget can make quite an impact if you want to renovate your house. A $50,000 budget that doesn't include moving walls, increasing floor space, or adding to the foundation or the roof of the home can yield a very high ROI. In that scenario, such a budget could give your home a beautiful updated look without any major construction.

Experts use innovative designs and techniques to maximize your space, creating the illusion of size while enhancing functionality.

If you have a bathroom closet with movable shelves, you can place them at virtually any spacing that works for you. Useful measurements between shelves in the working, or middle, section can be 10 to 16 inches for towels or linens. Lower or higher shelving could be up to 24 inches between shelves to store lesser-used or bulky items or boxes.

The decision between wainscoting and shiplap for your bathroom will depend on the end result you’re looking for. Shiplap covers the entire wall and can be used on ceilings. Wainscoting is installed on the lower third of the wall and acts as an accent. One major consideration is that shiplap has rabbets that create space between the boards where moisture and dust can hide. Since bathrooms are a high-moisture environment, you may want to opt for wainscotting.
