Hello, I'm a carpenter with a preference towards custom furniture and the sort. I can also install flooring, know some rough framing, can do drywall, know how to hang most siding, and have experience in trim carpentry. If you have something that needs doing there's a decent chance i know how to do it so ask away!

"Tyler's attention to details unmatched. Tyler is meticulous and takes the time to do the job right. He is polite And punctual. You will want to hold on to his number."

We are a small, family owned and operated company. Billing procedures vary depending on the size and type of project. Small to medium jobs require half down, half upon completion. Larger projects may require draws at specified progress points per industry standards.

"We hired Mr. Barnett to fix a steep driveway. He and his crew were excellent! They were very detail minded and even did a few 'extras' that they thought would help us out. The crew was knowledgeable and friendly. They explained everything as they did the work. They did all of this at a great price. I would HIGHLY recommend them!!"

Unfinished Carpentry questions, answered by experts

Yes, professionals re-mount and realign antennas for optimal signal reception.

If the bowing basement wall is less than 2 inches, steel or carbon fiber straps are the best solution. For bowing that is more than 2 inches, wall anchors are the most effective. A contractor can help you decide the best method of repair for your home's foundation and also address the root cause of the trouble.

No, beams are the primary load-bearers for flooring or roofing systems, and they distribute the weight of the structure to your foundational supports, while joists bear far less weight and distribute their loads to the beams. Beams are usually thicker and longer, and they have support posts or foundation walls beneath them for support.

When building a house, it is customary to use 16d nails that measure 3 1/2 inches in length to construct the frame. These nails are crucial in providing the necessary support and stability for structural elements like joists and studs, which ensures a sturdy framework.

Cupping and bowing are both types of wood warping, but they affect the board in different ways. Cupping happens when the edges of a board curl upward or downward, creating a concave or convex shape across its width. Conversely, bowing is when the board curves along its length, forming a gentle arc.
