"Our 15 year old gas dryer was not fully drying our clothes. It seem to be turning on than turning off before the clothes were dry. Checked Angie's List for a repair company  in our area.  I was impressed with the comments and ratings for Budget Appliance Repair. I called the office on the 28th of April. Talked to Jamie, she was very friendly and fully explained the pricing policy for repairs [$40 for service call, $40 for labor if parts needed replacement plus the cost of parts] . I made an appointment for the very next day. Service Tech Keith arrived and was very professional and friendly. He ran the dryer through various diagnostic tests but found nothing wrong at that time. He indicated that the problem could be intermittent.. He charged me only $40 for the service call since no repairs were made even though he spent time running the various tests. He indicated that the $40 service fee was good for 30 days. Tried to dry a load of clothes a day later and the same problem occurred.  Call  Jamie back and Keith was out again the next day.  He tested the dryer this time with a small wet load. Again the dryer appeared to be working but after 20 minutes the gas burner shut down and did not light up again. Keith expected that could be the problem and knew than that it was the valve coils. He only charged me $40 for the labor and $45 for the parts than  took off $10 for being an Angie's List Member. My total cost was $115 for the two service visit and parts. In my opinion that was a very fair deal.  I tried a load after Keith left and the dryer seemed to work.. Hopefully, all is well!
I would highly recommend Budget Appliance Repairs. They were very professional and their pricing policy is very reasonable.
