"We hired Doug King of SMK Property Maintenance to complete our deck project. The work was originally scheduled to begin on October 14 but did not commence until November 4, and the project was not completed until December 10. What should have been a straightforward undertaking extended to nearly two months. During the process, we were advised to order the wrong product, which was subsequently installed and could not be returned. As a result, the deck?s initial appearance was unsatisfactory. There was lot of miscommunication between him and his contractors. We ended up with two different contractors and the second one completed To his credit, Doug corrected the issue by having the incorrect boards removed and replacing them with the proper materials. However, this required us to purchase the correct materials ourselves, further delaying the project. While the finished deck ultimately looks excellent, the overall experience was marked by significant frustration and avoidable setbacks. "

"Joe and Pete did an awesome job trimming very large limbs from a pine tree that was hanging over my garage. They cut the limbs off and hauled them away and will be coming back to aerate , put down soil & seed my backyard lawn. They were prompt and very fair on their price. They also did work for two of my other neighbors. It was so nice to have them do a great job for us senior neighbors and then know how honest they were in their pricing after we had three other quotes that could have ripped us off terribly. "I lost my husband two yrs ago unexpectedly and decided this year I would decorate outside a bit. This wonderful man did a beautiful job. He came by today to pick up his ladder and saw me struggling to put Banners up. I was literally crying before he showed up because my husband did all this and I just couldn't figure it out. Well he insisted on putting up the banners and then flipped a switch on brick around the landscaping and all these lights started twinkling. It was so beautiful. This kind gentleman wouldn't accept any extra money for helping. Needless to say I went from a sobbing widow to a giddy grandmother excited to show my grandkids. We had planned on fixing up two rooms in our house but didn't get to it before my husband passed. I know who ill b calling after the holiday"

"I contacted Mr Handyman from Angie's List around June 25th 2024. Mr Handy sent me a quote on June 26th for $3360 for 2men and 2days to complete the job of building a sunroom at my home. I excepted and scheduled a appointment for work to be done on July the 1st. Mr. Handyman called me on June the 28th to reschedule for July the 2 2024. They showed up on the 2nd worked 5 hours and come again on July 3 2024 worked for 8 hours. Job was still not completed. I called the company on July 8 2024 to find out about completed the job, I was told that someone would be out on July 10 2024 no one showed. I called the company around 9am on the 10th I was told that someone would be out to complete the job on July 11 2024. No one showed or called on July 11 2024. I called the company on July 12 2024 I spoke with the Owner and he said he would have someone out on July 15 2024 between 8-10am. The contractor came out on July 15 2024 worked 3 hours and told me that nothing could be done about the leak in the roof or the stripped door handle and missing screws. I called back to the company talked to the owner I offered to send photos of the job he refused to accepted. I have not talk to or received any call about rectifying to problem. I would like a refund of $1491 to hire another contractor. I do not trust this company to do the job correctly."
