"Overall, Tom was personable, professional, and he got the job done fairly easily. I trusted his judgment in what kind of mounting hardware to use into the wall -- which was probably the one issue I had with how things went. Mr Handyman only provides their labor; the customer needs to provide ALL materials, which initially was challenging because the guy that I spoke to on the phone said that I had to wait until their guy arrived to even know what parts to get! He said the handyman would tell me what to get, and I'd need to go to the store -- while the guy is at my house -- and get the mounting hardware! (As a side note ... who would leave their house with someone they don't know inside it?). But then when I protested on the phone, he suggested I go to Home Depot and ask them, and get what they suggested (which made me wonder ... I'm hiring them for THEIR knowledge, right??). So my solution, which was the least painful in my mind, was to go to the hardware store and buy multiple different mounting options, and have them available for their guy to choose from (after which, I'll take the ones he didn't use back to the store). The only other point was the price, which, to explain ... Mr Handyman is a bit on the high side, because they charge for a full hour in addition to their service fee, even though Tom was only actually working at my house for about 30-40mins."

"This was our 2nd project with Craig after having our basement refinished. Our new crown moldings have lightening above that reflects onto the ceiling. It makes the rooms look more elegant. The kitchen had ugly multi colored back splash we inherited when we purchased the house. Now, the marble back splash reflects the quality of our home in general. , Rob and Zack did an excellent job.  They were patient, easy to work with, and pleasant to have around.  We felt as if Rob really listened to and respected our wishes.  When they said they would be at our home at a certain time they were here.  Things were left neat and cleaned up.  We are hiring them again to do some work in our kitchen.

I'd also like to comment for a friend who is not a member of Angie's list.  After surgery her husband wasn't able to walk.  He'd been placed in a nursing home.  Their home was not handicap equipped.  He couldn't even get into the bathroom.  I gave her Rob's phone number.  He and Zack made time in their busy schedule to help, so that our friend could return home.  The work was excellent and their kindness greatly appreciated.
