Jerrod and his team did some updates for us a few years ago so when we decided to do this upgrade, we called him first. His prices were great and he and his team were polite, professional and honest throughout both remodels. We have more projects we want done in the future and plan to call Jerrod for those also.

They talked a good talk but did extremely poor quality work from bad painting, mudding, unalighned cabinet doors and trim, and tried to pass it as finished work. Then when told their services were no longer wanted they wouldn't leave. Once paid to leave they cashed check immediately. Overall very dishonest and disappointing.

Jerrod and his crew did an excellent job on our home addition and front porch. He was good with communication throughout the process. I felt completely fine with them working on our project while we were at work. They were respectful and cleaned up daily during the work. Jerrod was also open to changes and questions. I would recommend them to family and friends. The payment schedule was appropriate, too. We just made the final payment on completion and we would consider having him do future projects for us.

They did an excellent job so I have them come back for the kitchen. They did a full kitchen remodeling from getting the materials and getting on time and do the work. It worked well,

Excellent, its hard to find a company like this who is really dedicated to the work they do. Jerrod was always prompt, honest, and very friendly. He made you feel like you've known him for a lng time. I now know who to go to whenever I need ANY kind of work done on my home or the rental properties I own. A close friend referred me and I was a little hesitant at first, but after having this wonderful experience with his team and with SHB I wish I would've never used the companies i was using before.

I gave Jared some ideas I had for my remodeling and he not only did all of the things I asked, he went above and beyond my expectations! He was honest and reliable and I’ll definitely be calling him for any future work I need done.

He built over crack and he took out my furnace and my hot water without permit every ounce of work is complete mess. I lost 20grand, all his work was completely ****. I ask him for my money back what was left of it but he said that nothing was left . He made me do my own painting. He threaten us during Covid that we'll have no water. I would never used them again.

Looks great and was done very timely. I look forward to using them again.

better than expected workmanship was excellent

We hired Jerrod Thomason, DBA Superior Home Building. We purchased a home and needed to have a garage added to the house, new windows, new roof, siding and gutters, and a porch added on to the front of the house. We hired SHB in early spring in 2018. The work was not "completed" until after Thanksgiving 2018. We had concerns about the work and had mentioned it to Jerrod several times asking him to complete/fix the work. We have huge nails pounded into our new shingles, a window that cracked when installing the trim (when we noticed it), window that wouldn't open/close the first time we tried to open it, siding buckling and falling down, siding not put on properly, trim rippling and nail heads pounded all over, trim pulling away from the house, shingles not attached, shingles lifting, windows not properly trimmed, and trim around windows with holes to let water in. Jerrod hired a subcontractor, didn't pay any attention to the job he did and now doesn't want to take responsibility for the really bad job. We have estimates of over $20,000 to "fix" the work. I wish I were able to leave pics to show what a bad job he did. I would not recommend Superior Home Builder or Jerrod Thomason at all.

We cannot say enough good things about Jerrod Thomason and his company. There were several delays due to COVID19 but when the hold was lifted, they started right back up. We had further delays due to things (stove, flooring, electrical) needing attention. As soon as these things were taken care of, we called and they came the next day. They worked for two days and finished the job. It is absolutely beautiful and we love it. We would recommend them for any remodeling job that needs done - so professional and friendly. They went beyond was expected of them!

Jerrod Thomason, the owner of Superior Home Building, did a complete remodel of our house including a new addition. He did the work while we spent the winter in FL. I contacted him based on the outstanding reviews on Angie's list. We did not meet him until the job was well under way. Everything was done by phone, email, and FaceTime. We couldn't have been more pleased with the result. I would recommend Jerod for any job. He was outstanding!! Our job included: new roof, new siding, new gutters & down spouts, replace all windows, new flooring, new lighting and electrical, new plumbing, seal walls and waterproof basement, paint every room and ceiling in the house. Also a complete remodel of the kitchen, bathroom, utility room, closets, and an addition which included a large new bathroom, walk-in closet and storage area. Use Superior Home Building you won't regret it!!

They broke the roof the 2nd week of January. Was able to get it done in a timely manner so I didn't lose much heat. He was able to work with me on making changes during the project. During the process I wasn't liking the way the deck was looking so I asked if we could make some changes. They did exactly what I was wanting to do.

I recently hired Superior Home Building after my awning was ripped off of my front porch during a wind storm. There was a lot of damage including the siding, gutters, and railing. I wanted a new covered porch gable roof with a raised inside ceiling (instead of an awning), new siding across the whole front, new gutters, new wood railing painted white, and new poles wrapped in white. (I am a person who knows exactly what I want, how I want it and how much i want to spend.) I searched through many building companies and they either were too expensive, didn't want to do my project, couldn't handle my project, or just didn't seem to honestly care about me or my project. Once I found Jerrod at SHB, all my problems were solved. This team honestly cares about you, your project, your wants and your needs. I told them exactly what I wanted and they did exactly as I asked in a very quick and time efficient way. The price was more than fair and it did not change even once!! They were able to beat out every other company I looked at. They used all good quality material and the finished product is gorgeous!!!! People have been driving over from other parts of my neighborhood because they heard about my beautiful new covered porch and they wanted to see it themselves. I've also had neighbors say they will hire them to complete similar projects on their homes. I will be hiring SHB again in the future to redo my bathroom. I know they can do many different types of projects and their quality of work and price cannot be beat! I would recommend them 100% to anyone, and I have over 20 times in the past month.

I put the project out for bid for 2 months and despite having a plan drawn up of what I wanted, I had many contractors overbid/underbid me because they wanted to offer me something different. Jerrod was one of the very few who offered me exactly what I had asked for and given that I was looking to establish a long-term business relationship with more than one project moving forward, I felt most comfortable with Jerrod and awarded him the job. Jerrod started and finished the job on-time with exceptional workmanship. The siding, doors, woodworking, concrete, shingling, ladders all turned out fantastic. If I could redo anything, I'd just make the blind on top bigger so I could have bigger windows and change my seating arrangement, but I digress - perhaps another project for another time. Given how things went on Job #1 - I wasted no time in awarding Job #2 to Jerrod to install the gates on my property which he just finished on Friday the 18th right on schedule as well, so I now have everything done in advance of my hunting season so I won't have hammers or nail guns sounding off in the woods for over a week prior to opening day. More projects will surely come to Jerrod from me but in the meantime, I highly recommend him to others! Great job, I'm very satisfied!

Superior Home Buildets, LLC showed up a few days later on time to start work on my basement. They were on time, personable, explained what they were doing on a daily basis, were not that disruptive at all.. I was very impressed with Jerrod and his crew, I could tell reliable, trust worthy, they were there to get the job done. They exceeded my expectations of my finished basement, needless to say I am very happy and impressed with their work. So impressed I hired Superior Home Builders to come back and tear down my deck which needed a lot of work after wear and tear over the years.. Again they far exceeded my expectations.
