"The contracted the work off to a third party. Jon took longer than expected. The windows was installed pretty good from the looks. Communication could have been better with knowing the job will take longer and what types of trims I wanted for the windows. As the contractor that was hired for this job by this company. Did a good job with putting up decent trim. As for the new windows they look great. I purchased the myself and hired sentri homes to install them. I will need to have a my siding on my house redone to be closer to the new windows so the gaps are not so obvious. That was not expected at first. But from old storm windows and not knowing how they were put in originally. There was some unknown things that was learned from the job being completed. I will have the siding of the house slightly done to match really good for what I wanted later on. My only concern is better communication with sentri homes. Overall they were great when I did talk to them."

"PERFECT from start to finish. The house is an old two-story farmhouse originally built in the 1800's and a new kitchen addition was put on over a century later. It has a gambrel roof, which was the norm way back then. We were concerned as to how hard it would be to tear off the old shingles and put on new ones, due to the various heights and peaks. The roofers worked their magic and had it done in a matter of a few days, with nary a problem. Next came covering the entire house with Polar Wrap, Tyvek, and then the siding. We knew that once again it was not going to be an easy task.. and especially for only one man.. but Kenny went to work early in the morning, and did not quit until evening. It took him a few weeks and he just finished the entire project two days ago. We cannot say enough great things about him and the impeccable job he did, with every detail done to perfection. He is a true asset to his profession, and we have made a new friend. And last, but surely not least, is Jody the owner of Hammer Time. He is very nice, fair, honest, upfront about all costs, a great communicator, and is not the least bit pushy in any way. He truly cares about his workers and customers, and aims to please. "I started calling around to have a few jobs done around the house back in February of 2016. Most responses were to call after the snow melts. By April of 2016, everyone was booked up and didn't give me the time of day. Living out of state, I visited the house in late May and found it in worse shape than I thought and desperately needed a contractor to take over. After calling around, trying to get quotes from about ten contractors, only two responded that could do all I needed. These two, were able to meet me that day and got by quotes before I left town. After securing the funds needed, Andrew was the only one who could provide within my time frame. As soon as the work started, I got picture updates on the house and recommendations of improvement. His personal judgment was paramount in this job since I was states away. The house was complete with new siding, repairs to inside damage, painted interior, refinished hard wood floors, repaired fence, replaced storm doors, new outside lighting, repaired plumbing, electrical, resurfaced driveway and other small projects around the house. The house looks so good, I don't want to have to sell it! I like to see reviews that aren't so top quality, but I cannot say anything negative about Andrew and his crew. He understood my needs and limitations and was very flexible and honest. If I ever return to Manistee, he will be my go to for any further projects."
