He is honest, responsive, and the team does high quality work. For some of the early projects, I got multiple bids and Ryan's price was always reasonable. Now I just get a bid for budgeting purposes as I know it will be a fair price for the work completed. The latest project took 5 days to complete and included patch work as well as painting the walls, trim, doors and ceiling. I was indecisive about paint color and Trudy & Ryan worked with me to narrow down my choices. They were also able to accommodate a last minute decision to paint the cabinets on one of my bathrooms. "Hired this contractor after our original contractor completely failed to perform the restoration of our deck and repainting as hired. Kris came out and quoted the work and then went above and beyond to ensure the work got done on time. When we found more wood replacement than originally expected was necessary he got that handled quickly as well. All around great experience."

"After a severe wind storm that ripped off roof shingles which allowed rain into my kitchen, a friend referred me to Nyboer Builders. Jay, the owner, came to assess the situation and counseled us on different ways to tackle the issue. He also came several times to oversee and make sure things were going right once the project was in progress. In the beginning, as the demolish unfolded, they found an area that was previously done improperly and wasn't to code. Knowing it was a hazard to our family, he made sure to call in a structural engineer to fix the framing and roofing matter. He kindly worked with us since the insurance company wouldn't cover it due to it being a skylight issue where the former owner cut trusses. It was an unexpected additional $1200 and with our large family, he was willing to do a payment plan. No fault to the Nyboer Builders Company this part of the project extended the length of the project, which bumped our date to getting things done. However, Nyboer Builders returned immediately to finish the project and did a superb job. All my neighbors thought we were remodeling and came to peek in. Everyone of them (6) were impressed with the kitchen ceiling remodel and the paint job that was done.
