"This is my second review on DTE Home Protection Plus. The service co. Has attempted to repair my (less than 2 years old) oven. Kenworld start on Jan.15th. They have been here 4-5 times and can't get the oven to stop turning off. Home Protection refuses to give me greenback cash to purchase a new range. The service taking my appointment is PRO-0121 was very nasty and smart mouth regarding my new appointment and getting my 300.00 toward a new range. Once again I have to have the same person to come and try again to repair the oven. DTE refuses to give my greenback cash!!"

"This company manipulates you into thinking you have a piece of mind when you purchase this warranty. Its the opposite. They say plumbing is covered. Its only covered up to $500. Also, they ask probing questions to you and the technician in attempts to get the answers they are looking for so they can deny your claim. When you plead your case, they just tell you its out of their hands. They are extremely well trained to deny your claim, they are not here to help. They are here to rob you of your money. I will not be renewing and will warn family and friends who have this to not renew. I will also warn local realtors, sellers, and home buyers to use a different warranty company. There should be a zero star option for this company."
