Carrolton and his crew from everydry waterproofing were hard working and professional. I have never seen so many people working this hard. They told us it would take a week to complete the job and they completed it on time and cleaned up afterwards. They were careful with the landscaping. I would higly recommend this particular team.

Ryan O'Dea did an excellent job of assessing our basement leaking issues, educated us regarding the science and presented us with various methods and their efficacy from which to choose. We did not end up contracting work at this time, but will consider doing so in the future.

I moved back into the house 12 years ago that I grew up in Eastpointe.. I remember growing up, every time it rained we would have piles of newspapers in all the corners of the basement due to the leaking. The first thing I had done once I moved back in the house was have Everdry Waterproofing water proof around the entire house. It was the best thing I had done!! No more leaky basement!! Thank you Everdry Waterproofing!!! LB

Just to be clear: I should have to hire Everdry again only to address any issues with their work i.e., if the basement floods again or regular maintenance of the backup which should be covered by the yearly premium of $75. Here is the full experience: I waited 2 full years before writing the review so enough time elapsed to assess quality of their work. Water started to come into the finished basement thru the walls every time it rained in early 2015. I contacted Everdry to diagnose the problem. A (gruff) consultant came in to take a look and said there are some cracks in the wall; basement external wall needs a reseal and recommended getting an auxiliary tile around the walls inside the basement with another sump well. This diagnosis is important to keep in mind for the punch line of this story. I trusted their diagnosis and a (nice) sales person came in to provide a quote and sign me up for the contract. A (very friendly) staff helped us schedule the work in late 2015 and the work went well. The supervisor was efficient and the crew cleaned everything up, restoring the ground more or less to the original state. However, there were issues: 1. (Minor) The grass planted over the external pit never took root and in spite of couple of contacts, nothing happened. I took care of it myself and after 2 years, it is OK now. 2. (Major) The sales person said the working crew will take care of the basement resealing wherever it is in contact with outside earth and that included the area near air conditioner. However the supervisor refused to do anything around the air conditioner saying that is not needed because that would have necessitated moving the air conditioner. Sales person was out of contact and supervisor was the sole contact - nothing could be done. Punchline: Last year when someone came to take of the radon fan in the original sump (with a sealed cover), they opened the seal and found that the sump pump was broken. It turned out that water was coming out from the walls simply because water had nowhere else to go. So the diagnosis was wrong - a simple $500 good quality sump pump would have addressed the problem instead of $17,000 for whole length of water proofing! Bottomline: You better diagnose the problem yourself and if there is a real problem, engage Everdry. They will do a good job but you make sure the spend is necessary.

Long story: Everdry team was good to deal with, professional and explained the work to be done. They completed work on time showing up promptly all the days work was done. I waited almost 2 years before rating them so that I could evaluate the result and the water did not come into the basement after the work was done. The reason for C rating on price and quality are two-fold: Their diagnosis of the problem was poor. The reason for water in the basement was a failed sump pump (My sump is sealed; water was coming out from all sides of the basement - apparently from drain pipes - and the pump was fairly new, so it did not occur to me to check the pump). Everdry told me that it is because of cracks in the basement or the rod holes and told me that it needs a full-blown water proofing. So I went with it - spending $17k in stead of $300 on a sump pump - a great lesson for you all. A great professional business would have saved me '000s. On Quality: The water proofing itself is good. But they left the basement full of dust. Upon complaining, the supervisor - who was very courteous - came back and did another round of cleaning. However the basement was still dusty and I had to engage professional cleaners to wipe it down and still it is dusty!! Poor job. Outside the house, I was promised that they would put the landscaping back, which was done in a very sloppy manner and I had to spend another $500 to get it back into the original shape.

Everdry's representatives were very knowledgeable, informative and willing to teach us about basement issues and the various options to correct the issues. They spent plenty of time at our home, and were willing to work with us to answer all of our questions. They were very flexible and accommodating and willing to stand behind their work with a warranty.

Once they met there time table of three days and argument was resolved by the fourth day things were fine. They repaired a serious crack in the corner foundation and tarred and plastic the rest of the outside foundation installing two dry wells with gravel to help ease any load on their system as we live in a flood plain where water is 12" down and sump runs every 20 minutes into our pond before slow drainage out far end. It has been so dry in MI this summer I have never seen the water table or the Clinton River so low. Will have to see whose system pumps more water in future. Nice finish cement work and outside cleanup. I would rate this company a 10 even though we had to come to an argument and $30. Stop payment when they thought they were finished. I hope we remain friends as I grew to like these guys working side by side for three days. Mike the owner is a very reasonable man and considered us family until we had our bump in the road. I hope he still feels that way as his company is the best around with polite workers and quality work. I think highly of him and all his crew. They stopped lunch to help me move a 600lb safe into the house. As I said great guys and good management . I just wished I stayed ahead of them in clearing drywall and studs and there would have been no problem. Rate them 10 in all areas of the job Thank you! Gary Baker 37560 Hayes Road Clinton Twp. 586 4892303 Feel free to contact me about this company as they are the best in waterproofing and basement repairs.

Very quick service (after 2 week wait for township permits.) Professional crew....completed waterproofing of exterior basement walls in three days. The basement seems to be dry after some light rain. Very satisfied with the company.

It went really good with EverDry Waterproofing of S.E. Michigan. They came in, told us what was wrong. They set up a date, in fact they worked with us because I have small children. They were a little bit pricey, but they told us that they would do it in the off time, in fact they gave us $5000 off because they did it in the winter. They came and did the work, the cleanup was good. Not much dirt, they put plastic sheeting up all over. I just had them out a couple days ago because about a month ago I still had a leak in the basement so a gentleman came out twice to look for where the leak was coming from. They had men over and repaired it right away and it looks good. They were very nice and very professional.

My wife and I noticed water in our furnace room and were able to determine the source of the leak which was about half way up the wall. Being that this was the first time ever having a leak, I turned to Save On magazine and found an ad for EverDry Waterproofing. Understanding construction, I was fearful that this would cost a large amount of money to fix. Jeff, the owner, came and met me at my house the same day I called. He explained to me that the leak was isolated, that there was no mold, and that the position of the leak would make it rather easy to fix. He made us feel very comfortable immediately. He told us that he could patch the wall from the inside but explained that it would be a temporary fix. He recommended digging the outside garden down to the bottom of the foundation about four feet wide and fixing this from the outside using black rubber, back fill with stone and the existing dirt, and then about 2 feet down from the ground level wrapping plastic so that water would run away from the house in that area. The first thing I thought was how much? I believed that he was going to charge me a high amount knowing that I needed to have it done. The price was under $1,500.00. We scheduled a day with him to complete the fix. He said his team would show up between 9:00 and 11:00am and the project would take approximately 5-6 hours. His 2 employees showed up right at 9:00am and were very professional in their approach. They introduced themselves, explained step by step what they would be doing, and reassured us that everything would be fine. I was worried they were going to make a disaster of my back yard and track the mud inside my house. Well, not one drop of dirt ended up in my house and they returned my garden to the same as before they arrived. They did a fantastic job!
Overall, my wife and I felt very comfortable with the honesty and integrity of the owner and all the employees involved. I would highly recommend this company to people that want a job done right the first time.

Arrived 8 AM each day, worked until 3 with time for lunch. Brought a large crew, worked very quickly with concern for my comfort. Kept me informed 2-3 times a day of progress. Special attention for sump pump window wells and plantings.

I have to say that I am very impressed with the way The Everdry Crew handled our basement job. We have a very big basement more than 2500 square feet and it has been wet for over 25 years. Leaks from wall and at the floors in several areas. We had decided that we would go with the Multi-Step Basement Waterproofing system. Total Excavation - dig around the exterior of the home’s foundation all the way down to the footing. Interior Systems - this involves opening the floor around the interior perimeter of the basement, digging a trench, and placing perforated drainage pipe and gravel around the footer, plus we added 2 sump pumps and their E-Z breath ventilation system.
The crew came to our home on the morning of the 28th of March, they got started right away and within hours they had the perimeter of the basement jack hammered up while another crew started digging outside the perimeter of the home. The only spot that they didn’t dig up was the cement backyard patio, which they had promised that if we ever replaced the patio with pavers or something like that, they would come by and complete the exterior connection.
The crew took great care in keeping our house clean. At times, depending on what phase they we at, it seemed that there were 15 plus men working on the job.
There was always a superintendant onsite to answer any question that I had. And I had a lot of questions. He explained the job along the way. Their time lines were punctual and as promised they were out of there in 3 days. Leaving absolutely nothing behind. Interestingly enough, the moment I handed the superintendant check for the job it started raining. The first test for my new basement.
With my house, even a little rain and my basement was wet. That day… Not a drop!
Months later we had decided to rip out the concrete patio and put in brick pavers. Once the patio was removed I called Everdry, true to their word they had a crew come out the very next day to connect the outside system.
I am writing this 2/11/2013 almost one year since the job was completed and I must say that I am completely impressed. We have not had any issues with the system.
Notes about the sales person: I wouldn’t say that he was a pushy salesman, because we knew what we needed to do. He explained the system very well.
Notes about the crew: Most of the crew were very professional, although when I was outside watching them, some of the language was offensive. Mostly they just kept quiet and did their job.
I am very pleased with the result and will refer your company to anyone that I know with basement issues.

I found them on Angie's List and they were good. They had a very thorough approach which did not require digging out all the ground around. They had a different process which I thought was less invasive and a lot less expensive.

They did a good job. When they were cleaning up, they dumped the cement mixture that they used intto my grass when rinsing it out. That was the only thing I was not happy about. They were pretty prompt and responsible.

thorough explanation of all repair option. Crew arrived on time and we surveyed home together and selected location for sump and drywell. Took great care with plants and bushes and lawn. All plants replaced and are intact almost 2 months later. All interior items were covered in visquen to protect from dust. Only problem was tape they used to put plastic up removed the picture from some of the paneling. Basement was cleaner after they were done.
.Biggest problems was city inspection. Construction and plumbing were done during and final on last dat, or so we thought. We were told electrical would be done later. Sub scheduled with city and sent ups a letter. No one showed and city claimed contractor cancelled. On reschedule day construction and plumbing inspectors showed up again claimeding theyneeded to do a final. electrical showed up finally. What a system

They are excellent. They do great work. They were thorough in making sure my basement is moisture proof and waterproof. It was awesome. I'm very pleased with the job. I would for sure use them in the future.
Be careful of their salespitch. They are true sales persons who like to start out with a high price but once you hem and haw they will quickly come down ! They tried to make me feel guilty about how far down I got them but I knew the game and wasn't about to be oversold. A job that first was pitched at $16000 + was done for just over $12000

I used Everdry Waterproofing to waterproof my basement 15 years ago. Today, they came and replaced the water pump and did some additional water proofing for no charge. I pay about $35.00 a year for a warranty, which covered all the repairs. They are awesome, and I can highly recommend their services.

I have an older house that was built in 1927. There were cracks developing in the walls. I needed my whole foundation redone, so they were able to restore it at a reasonable price. It went great. They were very knowledgeable. They came out and talked with me. The owner and manager of the store financed me for the project with no interest. I thought that was really nice. They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
