"They responded quickly. Through in what they did and gave me options. I thought the price they charged to remove and install a toilet was high but I would rate everything else 5 stars"

Customers say: Quick response

"Dallas is extremely reasonable, shows up when he says he will be there, does quality work for a fraction of the price and was able to do EVERYTHING, not just tile work or plumbing. He gutted the bathroom, leveled the floor, moved the toilet ran all new electric, took out a window and patched our wood siding, removed a radiator and gave us a new heat source, built and moved plumbing for a new walk in shower, installed a glass door, did all the tile work and flooring. Installed the shower light and cabinetry, and solid surface counter. He painted, installed the flooring put in trim, rebuilt our built in shelving...... For a third of the price other contractors were quoting for half of the work. He does it all himself, which is mind boggling, but it is definately done right! He was efficient and has an amazing work ethic. I would very highly recommend this contractor. We continue to get compliments on our bathroom! It is our favorite room in the house now."

"I hired this company to repair leaking toilet & leaking bathroom faucet. They replaced rubber o- rings on faucet & gasket between toilet & tank. No mention of cost for O-rings & gasket for toilet. Charged me 365.00 for service. Won't be calling them again. Could of bought new toilet & bathroom faucet for that price."

"Remodeled first floor bathroom & converted a second floor bedroom into full bath. We are extremely pleased with everything from initial planning & choice of products to workmanship and overall quality. Any questions we had were promptly answered. Work ethic of all who had any part in this project is to be commended. There were here every day at the time they said and worked steady all day. All were pleasant, courteous and hard-working. Special thanks to Mike! He did most of the work and was always there making sure even the smallest things were taken care of.. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new bathrooms. Jim White helped us achieve exactly what we wanted. We would not hesitate to recommend Mobility Remodelers!"

Toilets questions, answered by experts

Most toilets have a 12-inch rough-in or hole, but some have 10- or 14-inch holes, which means that not all toilets fit all setups. Knowing how to measure the rough-in is essential, so you purchase a toilet that fits the existing drain hole. It can be costly to have the rough-in moved, and most stores don’t accept toilet returns.

The water in your toilet tank refills after each flush. So if you see dirty water in the bowl, you should check the tank to see if it’s coming from there. A dirty toilet tank can be the result of sediment in the water itself—-after all, the water will sit in the tank between flushes and can cause the interior to change into a dingy color. Faulty toilet components, like an old flapper, corroded tank lever or chain, or damaged seals, can also lead to dirty water as the materials break down inside the tank. You can clean the toilet tank or change out the old parts to give it a fresh start.

Yes, many services include removing and disposing of old toilets. Confirm with your provider.

Yes, continuing to flush a clogged toilet is not likely to break up the clog. Instead, it will continue to put pressure on the clog while filling the bowl with more water, which can potentially cause the toilet to overflow—leading to an even bigger mess. Rather than repeatedly flushing, use a toilet plunger or plumber’s snake to dislodge the clog.

The Thanksgiving holiday period is one of the busiest times of the year for plumbers. Both Thanksgiving Day and the day after, often called Black Friday or "Brown Friday" by plumbing professionals, see a significant increase in service requests. This is because a house full of guests, large holiday meals, and unfamiliarity with the home's plumbing can lead to clogged drains, garbage disposal issues, and sewer line backups. Outside of the holidays, the busiest weekdays for plumbers are typically Monday and Tuesday, as many people discover plumbing problems over the weekend but wait to call for service. Despite the holiday, you can rest assured that many plumbers work on Thanksgiving and Black Friday to handle the surge in emergency calls.
