"It was very easy to set up an appointment with Brandon. We had a discussion about the issues with the air condition and he was able to repair the very old system and got it working again. We then discussed the cost of a new air condition system, and the proper way to maintain it in the future. He had emailed the quote within a few hours. Brandon is very good at his trade and also has great communication skills."

"Made a call at 8am. Service technician arrived on time at noon and problem was solved AND fixed within a half hour. Technician was polite, kind, neat and clean but also got down to business quickly. Best part was... he had the part on his truck so there was no back and forth!"

"I currently own a rental property in Michigan. I often find it difficult to provide quality maintenance from afar, I live in Florida. When my tenant called and informed me that the furnace was not working, I immediately called Aire Serv. they have provided furnace tune ups for me in the past and have always provided top notch customer service.
I worked with Bradley Bonniville, their furnace retail rep. He was patient and took the extra time to assist me with picking out the best furnace unit for my budget. He even took pictures of the final product and sent them to me when everything was done!
I highly recommend Aire Serv for any heating and air services. Thank you so much for the great customer service.

"Travis & Cade are a professional & client-oriented team. They completed the installation of central air-conditioning at my home in one day, just as planned. While in my home, they were careful, considerate of me & my belongings, as quiet as possible and efficient. I highly recommend them & would hire them again for any additional project."

Air Conditioning questions, answered by experts

Yes, a dirty evaporator coil can freeze up. Dirty evaporator coils can’t absorb or transfer heat properly. The dirt and grime restrict airflow, which is needed to move heat throughout the system properly. Your air conditioning unit could freeze over, or it can cause your heat pump to freeze.

There are many recognizable symptoms of AC compressor failure. They include loud banging noises, hot air being continually circulated in your home despite running the AC at full blast, uneven airflow and cooling, and electrical issues like constant surges due to the compressor working overtime. While some of these symptoms, like uneven cooling, can have other root causes, they are common indicators of compressor problems.

DIY is possible for basic cleaning. Professional services handle advanced maintenance like recharging the refrigerant.

Replacing both an AC and a furnace takes a full day on average, ranging from eight to 12 hours. The process involves removing the old units, installing the new ones, and ensuring all connections are properly made. If both systems are being replaced simultaneously, it can take longer than installing a furnace alone, so plan accordingly.

If you know how to identify supply and return ducts, you’ll find that only the supply ducts will have dampers. Although your return ducts can have dampers, it’s not common. If you have one return duct that is pulling in too much air, adding a damper to it can help with overall system performance. However, dampers on return ducts are not a necessary addition for most homes.
