You don’t need to fully replace the garage floor to use self-leveling concrete. A quarter-to-half-inch of self-leveling concrete on top of your existing floor will be sufficient for a smooth and even finish.

No, stamped concrete is extremely durable and relatively easy to maintain. To keep your stamped concrete clean and help prevent staining, you should sweep any debris off it regularly, like you would with any other hard outdoor surface. You should also plan on resealing the concrete about every four years, which is about the same timeline you’d expect from pavers and natural stones.

Properly prepared and applied concrete resurfacing can last from 10 to 15 years. The longevity of resurfaced concrete depends on proper preparation as well as the fundamental condition of the original concrete. If there is standing liquid on your concrete, remove it before attempting any of the above cleaning methods. For small amounts of water, use rags, a bucket, and a mop.
