My husband is an engineer and a fine woodworker and he judged that Scott is a meticulous painter who does fine work and goes above and beyond, even ridding us of a bee's nest near the house trim he was painting. Part of our house is three stories, but Scott managed to paint all the fascia board, and do some repairs while he was at it. Very pleasant personality. Five star work!!"

The thing we liked most about Mike was that he provided his insight, but was still willing to try the project we had in mind even though there were many unknowns. Our project did not work out as we did encounter some structural limitations - he kindly backtracked and finish off the work with clean smooth results. "I can't overstate the quality of the work these folks did. We had our unfinished attic converted to living space, and the space had a lot of funky angles and old framing. G.A. Doughty's team did an incredible job making it work, including a half-bath! We're very pleased with the result. Everyone at G.A., the project manager, office staff, and all the subcontractors were very polite and fun to work with. Everyone who came to the house was very friendly. The only issue we had was that for a few months during the middle of the project, things seemed to stall out for about 6-8 weeks. I think they were having some availability issues with subcontractors and were overloaded from other projects."
