"Highly recommended. Jose and Cesar were great. They were reliable and their work was excellent. They completely remodeled our condo including 4 bathrooms, floors, fireplace/hearth, etc. It was a big job and they worked with us to make sure everything came out exactly the way we wanted. The cost was very reasonable."

Small jobs welcome

"Kaydn has been very responsive as our renovation and repair needs evolve. We certainly aren’t done yet, but we will keep this company involved as we continue to work forward through some major renovations. We just started with them for essential repairs before embarking on the more ambitious projects. Kaydn has proven himself as very knowledgeable and capable. More to come."

"We needed to remodel our bathroom as our tub had a crack. Within a few minutes of contacting I had an appointment scheduled. The salesperson was knowledgeable and personable and met with us in the evening so we didnà ¢à  à  t lose any work time. The installation process was wonderful, everyone was professional, they covered the floors, so as not to track on them. We did have a couple of requests after installation and our installers came back a few days later to address our requests. We are thrilled with our new shower and we cannot wait to use it for years to come"

Kitchen and Bathroom Remodel questions, answered by experts

The toilet should rest 10, 12, or 14 inches from the back wall. As for other clearances, 15 inches is the minimum distance from the flange to any side wall or nearby fixture, including the shower, tub, and sink. Modern codes also require at least 24 inches of clear space in front of the toilet.

The typical mobile home renovation costs around $20,000, with a normal range of $10,000 to $20,000 for a single-wide and $15,000 to $30,000 for a double-wide. Your total will depend on a bunch of factors, including the quality of materials you use (for things like the cost of new mobile home flooring and plumbing fixtures), how much your contractor charges, and the size of your mobile home. The extent of the remodel matters as well. If you’re doing a full gut renovation, you can expect to add between $10,000 and $20,000 to your base price.

While Medicare will pay for some bathroom modifications, it won’t pay for all modifications done to help make the room more accessible for older adults. Plus, the improvements must be approved in advance, or they won’t cover the upgrade. Check well in advance of construction if you have coverage for grab bars, walk-in tubs, wider doorways, higher toilets, and more.

Installing a clawfoot tub with a minimum of 6 inches of clearance from surrounding walls allows ample room for the faucet and pipework, makes cleaning easier, and reduces the chance of moisture being trapped between the tub and the walls. It might need to be closer if the faucet comes directly out of the wall.

Consider anti-scald features, therapeutic jets, and easy-to-reach controls for tailored comfort and accessibility accommodations.
