"I love ❤️ the paint job on my home Jose did a wonderful job he’s very professional and very kind would knock on the door to make sure he was doing everything exactly the way I wanted it . This company helps you with your color choices ,they came out 2 times with a smile but even after that I wanted to see several shades Rex came right out a 3rd time the next day and put color samples on my wall so I could choose the one I liked the best I have have to say what really touched me was I became very ill and was admitted into the hospital and besides for the norm of Jose telling me I hope you get well he asked if I needed anything at all and then Rex said the same thing . I was list for words I really believe if I was alone and needed some soup Jose wound have gotten it but the wok was beautiful everything was cleaned up they texted to say when they were here ,and when he was done for the day , and what time he would come the next day . I didn’t expect my bars to be in the price but was happily surprised to come home and see them painted also I recommend this company I definitely will be calling for my outside wall and interior painting to be done . Thanks Lenzen"

"Tux previously painted the exterior of another property we own. We had bought the new property and it was in need of a major paint job - basically the entire interior. The current paint colors were all very dark and there was significant detail work to be done with things like board and batten, built ins and, pine beams and v-groove. This was a home my wife and I decided we were going to get exactly right. As before, Tux did a detailed walkthrough, provided a thorough estimate and followed through with the exceptional work we've come to expect from him. High quality paint, craftmanship and a do it until it's right attitude produces a great product."

"We had Ben do some patch work on the exterior of a relatively new house that wasn’t painted correctly during its construction (paint was peeling off because it wasn’t primed). He did a great job and importantly he did the job right. He worked hard to scrape and remove as much of the old paint in the affected areas and then made sure to prime and paint so everything looked brand new. We were very happy with the quality and speed at which Ben got the job done! We will most certainly work with him again."

Customers say: Quality work

"Zach and his crew were exceptional. Outstanding communication from the start of the job all the way to the end. The price was very reasonable ( especially when compared to several other companies in the area. In fact, three of my neighbors have already booked JH paint to spruce up their houses. Strongly Recommended!"

Small jobs welcome

"I hired Don to paint the downstairs interior of my new house. I hired him the Sunday before Christmas and he worked right through the holiday week and finished the job on time. His prices were extremely competitive. He also was very clean. I had the flooring contractor coming in after him and he took great care not to splash paint on the floor. He did a great job painting walls, even caulked around the window frames where he felt a draft. My family is very excited to move into our new home. Now we can feel welcomed when we walk in everyday. I plan on hiring him to paint the trim as soon as the funds open up in my budget."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

While the above methods will help you remove paint from tiles, you may need to take a different approach to get rid of grout haze. If you’ve recently applied the grout, you may be able to wipe it off with a wet cloth. Otherwise, you can try removing it with a rubber grout float, spraying it with a mixture of four parts water to one part vinegar, or using a store-bought grout haze remover.

Paint removal is a time-consuming job that can take anywhere from an hour for small surfaces, like a single stair banister, to multiple days for larger projects, like removing paint from wood siding. Expect to spend between five and 20 minutes per square foot. You can use chemical paint strippers to speed up the process, but be sure you use proper protective gear and take care to pick a product that’s suited for your material.

You can find chemical and naturally derived paint thinners to remove paint without as much sanding. A heat gun or pressure washer can also remove paint from large areas. However, sanding is often the best way to remove the final bits of paint that remain on the surface.

You can remove powder coating with a chemical stripper, in a burn-off oven, or by sandblasting. Chemical strippers can remove most powder coatings in 20 minutes or less. But they are harsh and must be treated with care.

While the EPA provides guidelines for homeowners to perform DIY lead paint removal, it is a risky process and generally not recommended due to serious health risks and strict regulatory requirements. The process requires precise safety precautions, such as wearing a respirator and protective eyeglasses, creating sealed exits, and using a HEPA vacuum for cleanup. To ensure the job is done safely, effectively, and in compliance with regulations, it is highly recommended to hire a professional lead abatement company. Certified professionals have the necessary training, experience, and specialized equipment (like chemical strippers and HEPA vacuums) to handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely.
