"This was a specialized job, requiring roofing on a porch, gutters and water damage repair to the portico. This was a portico roof that had sustained underlying water damage. Alex was prompt, efficient and the workers were fastidious and neat. He went beyond the basic issues to ensure that we were totally happy. He showed resourcefulness in solving several associated problems. The real testament to his character and the assurance that the work would be done completely to our satisfaction was that he wanted NO MONEY UP FRONT. He informed us, "You pay me when I am finished". Which immediately let us know how confident he was in his work and performance. We wanted to pay him then , knowing that he would return and complete the painting. He responded by saying, "When I am finished you can pay me." I forgot that we are accustomed to contractors "jacking up prices because of our neighborhood ($800,00-million +. His pricing was great and we had three other contractors come for the same project. In fact one wanted to charge us twice what we paid Alex."
