"Walter was great. He and his helper arrived on-time and spent the whole first day busy. The second day he brought a different helper. They were very neat and cleaned up and covered the floor areas and our bed. They put in a barn door and had to install a header with drywall. They moved one light and put in 5 new lights.They also fixed one bathroom faucet that the cold and hot water lines had been switched. I would definitely recommend him to friends"

"This company was an absolute pleasure to deal with from the start as they were very responsive, prompt and professional.    Our garage door was a horrendous, builder-grade door that was in need of repair, which I could have had done but I opted for everything being replaced, i.e. the garage door opener and the garage door itself.  The technician that did the work was great.  He arrived on time, installed everything in a timely manor and took his time explaining all the work he completed and installed and was very knowledgeable and friendly.    Not only did they do a great job but they also beat out 2 other estimates I received from other companies AND went above and beyond by a honoring a current promotion that the garage door opener company was apparently disregarding.    Talk about superior customer service from Amber and her team!

"The company showed up on time and conducted the shingle replacement being careful not to damage the gardens around the house. They brought the roof up to current code, (the roof no longer complied with local codes), and worked with our chimney company to install the flashing properly. The cleanup was performed in an acceptable manner and the work was finished on time. Follow-up inspections by the company and I showed I had a good roof that was going to last another long time. I would definitely recommend this company for roof work."

"They did a very nice job power washing the only recommendation I would have is some of the bird droppings was not removed from the siding because the cleaner they used didn’t work on it they should figure out how to fix that."

"I had need for a relatively quick turnaround for upgrading of a worn out kitchen.  Called Competitive Painters and Robert Coulter came to discuss options.  I should mention that I had two other companies come to provide estimates.  The owner of one of them, a highly rated Angies List company, spent most of her time telling me that I should talk to a real estate agent about how my kitchen should look.  She had no helpful ideas or suggestions.  In contrast, Mr. Coulter explained several options - including services that his company could not provide.  He pointed me to a reasonably-priced granite counter top provider and Competitive Painters prepared and painted all of the kitchen cabinets.  They worked within my limited time period and coordinated their work with the countertop company.  The work they did was neat and professional.  I was very pleased with the results.

"It was easy to make an appointment by phone; the pricing was based upon the size and type of the house (single family home, split level, 1800 sq ft). I understand it would have cost more if the house was taller, or less if it was a town house. The cleaners showed up on time, and had the entire job done in about 45 minutes. They used the water faucet from the front of the house to wash out the gutters and flush out the drain pipes. They picked up the gunk that washed out by hand so that it was barely noticeable. I paid by check when they were done."

"Overall, I thought the person that came to my home to give an estimate of the patio we wanted to build was not very professional. She came up with a sketch for the patio which did not incorporate the design ideas that I wanted. She was willing to re-sketch the design 2 times to get it right, but then seemed to get annoyed that I asked questions about the materials that were being used, the options that were available...etc. Granted she may have been having a bad week, but I expected more. Ended up going with a different contractor and glad I did because the quote I got from them was $1000 less and I loved the job they did. 
Overall, I would give them a B-.
