"My sisters and I hired Mike while working to prepare our father's home for sale. Our father had recently moved to an assisted living facility and our goal was to have the house ready to sell as soon as possible. I found Mike on Angie's List and I am SO glad I did! We hired Mike to repair and replace tile in two bathrooms. But, we quickly learned that Mike's skills extend far beyond complex tile work. As the renovations continued, Mike did a variety of jobs for us including painting, plumbing and woodworking, Mike is extremely easy to work with, flexible, and a terrific problem-solver. Our dad's home is about 35 years old and presented us with a variety of unique challenges. Mike was our savior, offering solutions. and going way above and beyond what we asked of him many times. Don't let his company name fool you - Mike knows a great deal about many aspects of home repair and renovation. He is flexible and great with timelines. Since my sisters and I do not live in the area, Mike became our eyes and ears at our dad's house as a variety of repair people arrived to do their work. He is trustworthy, kind, and reasonably priced. I hope you can see from this review that we cannot recommend Mike Lipiner highly enough!"

All work was done at a high level of quality and in a timely manner. Communication for planning each of the tasks easy and reliable. Contractor arrived on time. I highly recommend for power washing and paint jobs."

"Spiro's Painting did a lovely job, and the porch now looks pristine and clean. Moreover, we no longer have to worry about the exposed wood on the posts and soffits as a result of peeling paint. There were a few hiccups with scheduling, but the team was efficient, tidy, and true to their word about the length of the job. "I had this company paint 6 rooms and install a powder room that was rough-ed in when I purchased the house.The painting was done well, and timely and great care was taken. The powder room install was not a smooth or coordinated affair. There were several subs that were utilized and there was no sense of schedule to the process. I ended up have to make several runs to home depot to buy sinks and toilets when the contractor was not able to install the one I originally purchased and they looked at before taking the contract. I would definitely recommend them for paining, but not much else."

"The painters on job performed very well. Owners never showed up on job. When we told them that the 2 steps had not been power washed - no one spoke English so they stained right over the non-prepared steps. We signed contract and paid the price and as understood, paid for paint and supplies. The PROBLEM IS THAT THEY OVERPRICED THE JOB. For the approximately 56 hours of work they ended up charging us $160 per hour per person! We believe every company should make a profit but this is ridiculous. We tried to talk with them, but they did not call back . WARNING- get an estimate of hours and the price so you know what you are paying for."
