"Gleanoak plumbing was very professional and responded to the call and promptly showed up at the appointed time as a service call to clean out a clogged kitchen sink. We agreed upon the price of $275, which is steep, but this needed to be done and he seemed reputable - indeed he was both professional and prompt.
During the job, Gleanoak Plumbing was asked to look at the upstairs sink that I had shut off the hot water as there was a slow drip underneath the sink. He called me and stated that the nut was cracked and that was why it was dripping. If he wanted me to take care of it, he could, but the total cost of the job would sky-rocket to $700. This is price-gouging at it's finest. He was at our home for a total of 1h30 and charged a heckuva lot for a routine job.
Would NOT recommend this plumber on the basis of price-gouging.

"Very well! Mark and James arrived on the dot, completed the work within 3 hours, and left my house cleaner than it was when they arrived. Even though the garbage disposal was broken, I was concerned about a little leak when I ran the dishwasher. So James inspected all of the hoses, and ran a quick dishwasher load to see that it was no longer leaking after the new installation. While he was doing that diagnostic, Mark fixed my flashlight. All the while they made recommendations to help me avoid expensive repairs in the future. Really great guys!"

"Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. Talk with Bill about the results you want. Listen to suggestions. Your results will be beyond anything you thought was possible."

"Fidel is fantastic. He was able to match paint colors, suggested & used the right products to prevent the problem (mold from steamy bathrooms) and did a beautiful paint job. Treated, cleaned, painted in 2 days with 2 assistants. We ran into an unforseen obstacle, my bathroom fans were not hooked to vents. He gave me guidance on purchasing fans & brought his electrician in for correct installation. Because of an issue in my ceiling, we cannot vent through the walls as planned. He was going to use HVAC suggestions to vent through the roof, but he stopped & called some experts who told him that I could suffer leaks if I don't use a skilled roofer. We will have a roofer do the vents. Fidel only charged me for the work done. He'll come back to install fans after that."

"There was something that was in the drain so that when water was going in one direction it would be fine but if there there was something down the disposal it would flip it and the it would have a clog and they cleared that. They were straight forward, they got the job done proficiently and professionally."

"The majority of the project took about three weeks, which I felt was really quick for a kitchen remodel that included removing a wall. After the bulk of the project was done, they had to return a few weeks later to install some items that took longer to ship or were replacement items, but it wasn't an issue since the kitchen was functional at that point. While it was a messy project, I felt that AKC tried to keep things as clean as they could, which was important for us since we have a small child who's very curious about anything laying around on the floor. The project manager, Dan, was very responsive and would text me photo updates during the day while I was at work when requested. More importantly, Dan was very helpful in the planning stages. When we were first looking to redo our kitchen, we were overwhelmed with all of our choices for countertops, cabinets, colors, knobs, tiles, layout, etc. Dan was very knowledgeable and sat down with us to go over what would work best for us. "From the beginning it was a marvelous experience.  Tiffany and Cindy in the front office had a uncanny ability to steer us to the granite selections that suited us best.  After three visits to their showroom, we found the perfect piece of granite.  Cindy suggested we go to a bigger under the counter sink.  We did and we are glad we followed her advice. We elected to have their plumber install the sink, disposal and dishwasher.  The measurements went well.  Brian and Oscar showed up at 11 a.m. and worked hard until 5:30 p.m.  Oscar asked to see our faucet that we had purchased and said it was the wrong style for a granite counter top.  So we heeded his advice and went right out and purchased a single level faucet.  He was so right, it looked great and we thank Oscar for his advice.  Brian was a hard worker and good at his craft.  We were glad we had Eric the plumber come in to make the connections.  When he left, the sink was good to go.  If we had hired an outside plumber there would be a delay in using our sink.  You can't go wrong if you go with this company.  They know their craft and we have recommended them to many of our friends.

"Although Myriad was not able to do the work at my home, they are to be commended for actually responding and telling me they were too busy. I have had such terrible experience with companies in this field, that I had to write a review to thank them for their honesty and professionalism. The day after I sent them my list of repairs with supporting photos, they emailed me to let me know that are currently booked weeks in advance and could not do the work in the time span needed. 
I will definitely use them in the future.

"I think I talked directly to the owner. Porcelite scheduled service within a week. Technician arrived a few minutes early, got the job done, presented the bill and got out of my hair. I didn't even need to move my sink cabinet which is within a couple of inches of the tub."
