"Work:   The owner is very professional and informative.  Quality is good.  No complains there.
Price:  The owner is a talker!!!  he tells you how difficult everything is in order to charge you more.  I paid $1375 for what it turns out to be only about 2 hours of work!  He charged me $675 for labor ONLY of installing sink and faucet, that is a ripe off!  BE WARE of the jacked up price he is given you!!  My sink was a drop in sink, with simple installation, and home depot installed my faucet for $100 service call before, so it is definitely not worth $675 just for labor to install those two items.

"Very well! Mark and James arrived on the dot, completed the work within 3 hours, and left my house cleaner than it was when they arrived. Even though the garbage disposal was broken, I was concerned about a little leak when I ran the dishwasher. So James inspected all of the hoses, and ran a quick dishwasher load to see that it was no longer leaking after the new installation. While he was doing that diagnostic, Mark fixed my flashlight. All the while they made recommendations to help me avoid expensive repairs in the future. Really great guys!"

"Bill Martins Flood Crew is excellent. In December, just before Christmas, my finished rec room flooded when my sump pump failed--soaked carpet, cardboard boxes, books, furniture with sewer water. I thought I would not find anybody this time of year to help me. But I called Bill Martins from Flood Crew, and he came out right away. He looked at the basement and gave me an analysis of my damage on the spot. He was wonderful. He took care of getting detailed estimates to my insurance company and then made arrangements for me with all the needed specialists. First, I wouldn't have known where to start, and second I wouldn't have had a clue whom to call. I needed crews to remove the carpet, cut out drywall all around to dry it out, check for mold, test for asbestos, and then remove everything. And, of course, fixing the sump pump, installing flooring, putting everything back, and lots of details in between. All of this obviously can't be completed in a week or even a month. My work was not the only project that busy contractors had. My situation was far more complicated than I thought it would be. Ultimately, it took four months, which I thought was very reasonable. And the result is so beautiful--no corners cut, no putting up with mediocre results, all this for the same price and time or less than others quote. Be patient. Be flexible. Talk with Bill about the results you want. Listen to suggestions. Your results will be beyond anything you thought was possible."

"We met Todd Turner of AGS at a home building show in York PA in November of 2017. We liked his presentation. He met with us in our home, answered all our questions, and sent an estimate. The company's information packet is extremely helpful. We selected our granite pieces (after much contemplation), from the company's massive selection. Precise measurements were taken by another AGS representative and we received a detailed quote and accompanying drawings. AGS representative Cindy guided us in all aspects of our purchase process (granite, sinks, faucets, etc.) The granite counter tops were installed professionally and as scheduled. The plumber completed his work the same day. A few small tweaks were required and prompt follow-up was given. "I asked them to pull up carpets. They don't move furniture - but they didn't tell me that ahead of time. He did do an hour's work when he came initially - he hung a curtain - and left. The owner was supposed to call me back and didn't. I called Angie's List, who contacted the company. The company called and said that they found a handyman who would move the furniture. I had to wait 2 weeks and they finally came out. The handyman pulled up the carpet and piled it up in the living room. When I asked him about the disposal of the carpet (which I had specified when I bought the deal) he said that he didn't do carpet disposal. I asked him how much he would charge to dispose of the carpet, he then said "$100." So, I had to pay an additional $100 for disposal. Then I asked him to pull up the nail strips and he wanted to charge me another $100 for an hour of work -- even though it'd only take him 20 minutes at the most. Both men were nice and worked the entire time they were at my house, but it was just a disappointing situation overall and I didn't like being charged an extra $100 for the removal -- even though I had specified that in the deal ahead of time."
