"Just before midnight on Father's Day Eve, our well pump stopped working. On the morning of Father's Day, we called R&G, having had previous experience with them a few months before. We had a pending quote from R&G for a well pump replacement that we had not gotten around to installing. The wife of the owner graciously answered the phone, and took down all of our information during a very pleasant phone conversion. She promised to get back to us. We expected a day or two wait to get the problem resolved, and began making plans to accommodate that possibility. Around the time that we wondered when we would be getting a call back -2:00 in the afternoon - 2 pleasant well technicians from R&G showed up at our door, apologizing for the delay, as we were their 3rd out of water call of the day. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a sheared connector, not a well pump failure - an honest assessment that could have easily been characterized to us as a well pump failure. We chose to have the pump replaced, as it was 20 years old, and changing it was already on our radar. The pump was pulled up in short order, and within a few hours, we had running water again. We received a fair price for emergency service, and an honest assessment of our well problems on 2 different occasions. We highly recommend R&G."

After paying his $200 visit fee for a 2 minute consultation, he offered me a discount on a new GE refrigerator to fit which had not been built yet. Fast forward to now, GE does have 42 inch built-in counter depth Monogram side-by-side for $12,000 and $2,000 of Kraftmaid panels. Home Systems Appliance Repair cost me $400 to identify and fix a broken heat transfer tab in the freezer evaporator unit. I saved $15,000 - - not bad for paying Appliance Repair for a 2 hour job.
