Prior to agreeing to perform the rekeying service the locksmith requested that I text him a picture of my existing key so he could determine if rekeying the lock was possible. The locksmith determined that rekeying my lock could be done. I was able to quickly make an appointment for the service. The locksmith arrived on time and quickly rekeyed the lock. I had requested 5 keys and he fulfilled my request. The cost for the service was very reasonable. I am very satisfied with the services of Capital Locksmith"

"I called several other lock smiths before I found Baldino's. All of them turned out to use the same sub contractor, who I waited for for hours and finally just told not to come. I found Baldino's at 9:30pm that night, and they only use their own technicians on jobs, which immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. Beyond that, when I placed the first call, the representative was calm and detailed (unlike the other locksmiths who seemed to barely have time to write down my phone number). They gave me an ETA that was long but honest, which I appreciated, so I know I could go home and wait, and because it was late in the evening, there were some extra charges.
When the technician arrived, Craig was competent and quick with his work to recover my keys. I would recommend them 100%.

"GREAT PLACE!  Two years ago, a neighbor recommended Baldino's when I wanted to change the locks on my home.  Their Clarendon branch performed that service (promptly and with great customer service!).  
This time, I needed to unlock a pricey suitcase that I inadvertently locked while I was changing the lock's combination.  I called the manufacturer first.  They suggested that perhaps a locksmith could do it, sparing me the $75 it would cost me to ship it to them for repair.  So, I called Baldino's main line, explained the problem, and they recommeneded Chris at the Landmark location.  They said he was one of their most experienced locksmiths, and they were sure he could handle this. And he did!  Took him only a few minutes. Both Chris and the colleague he was working with at the shop (part time, retired Pentagon guy) were very polite, friendly, answered my questions and didn't make me feel silly for accidently locking the suitcase!  I'd go back anytime.  I'll be sure to use them for any future needs.

"I had a jimmy-proof Yale lock on my iron gate replaced last year. The installation then was poor. One screw was never screwed into anything. Recently one of the other screws broke recently, the shaft was broken off. Called, and had the locksmith at my place about 45 minutes later. He worked for over an hour getting it secured properly."

"Lawrence came out on a Saturday to fix the lock on our iron gate before we left for vacation. As we suspected, the lock was shot but Lawrence was able to replace it with newer version of the exact same Yale lock! Lawrence was extremely knowledgable regarding DC codes and explained that if we rented our house, we could call back and have the lock portion replaced with a handle! Great job!
