"Everything from the bidding process, through completion, was handled with the utmost care and professionalism. Dimitri and every person who he brought into our home treated it as anyone would want their own to be treated. This was not a small project. They vaulted the ceiling in the living area, completely removing the roof on half the house, and did a full new roof. Matched the existing red oak hardwood flooring, and sanded/re-stained the entire upstairs. All the plumbing and electrical in the entire house was replace. New kitchen, 3.5 new bathrooms, finished basement, combined two bedrooms to make a master suite. New HVAC. New generator…. You name it, and it was done. When all was said and done, I think our two hall bedrooms were the one walls that weren’t torn down. We could not possibly recommend Dimitri and his company (his two sons work with him as well) any higher. They are honest, and hard working. Old school in all the best ways.show more

"My husband and I must apologize for submitting our comments a little late with respect to the work that Cunningham Contracting did at our home.&nbsp; We had experienced considerable medical issues with two immediate family members, which eventually led to their death.&nbsp; Our list of things to do grew longer each day and we have finally been able to focus our attention on writing our review on Cunningham Contracting. <br /> &nbsp; <br /> We needed to have a new skylight installed because the existing one, which had been installed when our house was originally built in 1984, was deteriorating and causing leaks into our home from heavy rains.&nbsp; Additionally, we wanted to have the roof inspected especially around the outside chimney. <br /> &nbsp; <br /> My husband, who is very particular when it comes to having work done in our home, was going to do the work himself.&nbsp; After analyzing and considering the weight of the issues, we decided it would be best to have a professional company do the work on our roof.&nbsp; We contacted Cunningham Contracting to come to our home and give us an estimate on the work to be done and the cost. <br /> &nbsp; <br /> Cunningham responded within a very short time span and sent a field supervisor to our home to evaluate the work to be done.&nbsp; After examining our roof and the skylight, he explained what needed to be done, the cost, and the time frame for completion of the work.&nbsp; The work was scheduled for the following day.&nbsp; The workmen arrived at our home as scheduled, started work almost immediately, and completed their job within the time frame given.&nbsp; My husband, who had been away during the day, was quite impressed with everything upon his return to our home.&nbsp; Not only did the workmen do an excellent job in installing the skylight but all of the debris from their work had been completely cleared away from the yard.&nbsp; The supervisor gave my husband a detailed description of the type of skylight installed.&nbsp; The roof had also been inspected and there were no problems to be found. <br /> &nbsp; <br /> A few days following the installation of our new skylight, we experienced a torrential downpour of rain.&nbsp; After the storm, we were so pleased as we did not see one drop of moisture come into our home from the new skylight. <br /> &nbsp; <br /> We were very comfortable with the work Cunningham Contracting did.&nbsp; Being a woman who is always uptight and meticulous about work being done in my home, I am happy to say that they did an exceptional job.&nbsp; I understand from the supervisor and the workmen that the president of Cunningham always instructs his men to do the work as though it was being done at their mother’s house.&nbsp; That’s what I like to hear!&nbsp; I would definitely use them again and would highly recommend them to anyone interested in having work done by this professional company.show more

"Couldn't have been better!&nbsp; Friendly, professional, responsive, on time and on budget!&nbsp; How often to you hear that about a major renovation project? <br /> We downsized into an old 1980s house and needed to [practically] gut renovate the entire main floor (kitchen, living room, 2x bedrooms, bath w/new powder room) and replace the 10x10 deck with a modern Trex style 10x20.&nbsp; We never hired a contractor before and were guarded to say the least.&nbsp; So, we researched all the options (including being our own general contractor), investigated countless contractors (Angie's list, County license, etc.) and interviewed three different contractors before settling with Amazing Home Remodeling (AHR) out of Randallstown.&nbsp; Reggie Lewis, the owner, sold us by his responsiveness, approachable demeanor and his cost-saving recommendations. <br /> Once the project was scoped we signed the contract and ordered our first batch of supplies (custom cabinets take the longest, so order those first).&nbsp; Right away we got to rely on our project manager Guy Stravinsky who made himself so available to our calls, emails and so often present at the job site that we got the feeling we were his only customers (not true).&nbsp; Guy designed, scheduled, and supervised the entire project and became like a family member to us.&nbsp; Issues always arise during major projects, and ours was no exception, but Guy and his skilled team of craftsmen always put us at ease - - they were &quot;on it&quot; and never once gave us that dreaded &quot;this is going to cost extra&quot; pitch.&nbsp; Now is a good time to say that they also NEVER tried raise the estimate or up-sell us on the job; I really couldn't believe it but the price they quoted was the price we paid. The only time the price went up is when we added to the project ourselves and Reggie was always far (and timely) with his estimates. <br /> My wife and I were on the job site every day, sometimes all day, and watched Guy's teams work through every step of the project; demolition, rough-in, plumbing &amp; electrical, wall board, painting, flooring and tile, granite and cabinetry.&nbsp; Guy's right-hand men were Noe and Sergio Uglade; the most skilled, dedicated, detail oriented and friendly construction workers I've ever met.&nbsp; Noe is practically a one-man-show and is so skilled at tile work my wife and I started calling him &quot;the artisan&quot;.&nbsp; And his brother Sergio was as kind as he was hard working; it was a pleasure to great them each morning and receive their updates each evening.&nbsp; We were also blessed with new hard-wood floors courtesy of&nbsp; Mr. Igor Barbosa who's dedication to perfection, and our project, was praiseworthy; Reggie and Guy clearly recruit the best! <br /> The project took about two months in all and we have been living in the home for about 30 days.&nbsp; Guess what?&nbsp; Not a single complaint, not one.&nbsp; This could have been the most stressful and costly time of our lives but it wasn't.&nbsp; Honestly, it was a pleasant experience which we will fondly look back on for many years. <br /> Reggie Lewis, Guy Stravinsky, Noe and Sergio Ugalde, and Igor Barbosa; thank you for everything! <br />show more

"I cannot say enough good things about Craig and his team at Senior Handy Services! They replaced a roof, remodeled a bathroom and did other repairs and painting around my parent's home to make it safe for my 80+ yr. old parents to navigate. Wil Gogel, Craig's roofer, did an EXCELLENT job installing their roof and went above and beyond having to deal with an unscrupulous solar company that had damaged my parent's roof. He spent many hours on the phone with them trying to get problems resolved. These men truly know what they are doing and are true craftsmen that take pride in doing a job with excellence. They were very patient with my parents and answered any questions we had. I am 1500 miles away and it was a comfort knowing they were in good hands with Craig and his team. My parents now have a beautiful and safe bathroom, and a roof that does not leak. Their craftsmanship on all levels was outstanding. "Let me say Ronal is exceptional.&nbsp; Before I contacted him I had received other quotes &amp; those contractors did listen and were trying to get rid of my window.&nbsp; Ronal listened, worked with me &amp; was not trying to make his job easier by getting rid of my bathroom window but worked to figure out how to make what I wanted work. This company finds alternatives to give you what you want!! The tile &amp; floor work in my bathroom is phenomenal!! The workmanship &amp; attention to detail by Ronal &amp; his team was amazing. The price was great.
