It was great working with Alan, our house needed a lot of work and he showed so much flexibility with us as we had to move a lot of furniture around during the project and took his time make sure things were done properly. We have already recommended his services to friends and they have also been very positive about the work done.

Nightmare is the best word to describe it. We had to fire him and hire other painters to finish or redo some of his work. If you don’t want to deal with a sloppy painter (Alan), if you don’t want to constantly check his work and be with him all the time to make sure he does what you ask for, don’t hire him. Execution of his work is very mediocre.

Alan was referred to me. My overall impression can be summed up with the fact I will always reach out to him first hoping he isn’t on another job when I need him. A clock could be set to his workday. He is personable, honest and fair with pricing. He will lend an opinion if asked. He steered me from a poor choice in paint color by simply asking if I was absolutely sure the color I chose was the one I really wanted. Subtle, to the point and respectful all at the same time. This may seem as trivial in this day and age, but Alan always showed up looking super professional every day. He went above and beyond on the work I needed.
