"The providers arrived exactly on time.  The providers introduced themselves.  The providers were very friendly and professional.  The providers asked questions to determine my needs.  The providers had a positive attitude and wanted to serve.  The providers unassembled furniture, moved the furniture from one floor to another, and reassembled the furniture.  The providers placed the furniture in the exact places as instructed.  The providers were patient as I made up my mind on where to place certain furniture.  The providers made sure I was completely satisfied with their services before signing off on the job.

"No show for the quote appointment. Why can't I seem to find someone that will show up!? Can't really rate for services done just wanted to share that he didn't show up or call to reschedule. During a work week it does disrupt my schedule when I block off a time for someone to come."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

The disadvantages of sandblasting are noise, mess, and risk. Sandblasters are louder than chainsaws and spread debris on the ground and through the air. Let your neighbors know that you're sandblasting so they can prepare. Sandblasting can damage your property if not done properly, so thoroughly vet any pros you talk to before hiring.

Sanding and pressure washing serve different purposes in deck maintenance, so one is not necessarily better than the other. Pressure washing is ideal for annual cleaning to remove dirt, grime, mold, and mildew. Sanding is a deeper restoration method used to smooth rough surfaces, remove an old finish, and prepare the wood for a new coat of stain or paint. The ideal process for refinishing a deck is to first clean it (with a power washer), then sand it, and finally apply the new stain or finish. While cleaning should be done annually, sanding and staining are typically needed only every one to three years.

You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.

Because these two systems have different applications, there is no definitive answer to which is better. When working with sturdy materials, sandblasting is cheaper and faster, but more delicate projects require soda blasting. Before choosing either option, consider your specific needs, particularly your ultimate goal (cleaning, removing rust, prepping for painting, etc.), the material, and your budget.

If you’re DIYing the project, it could take up to a week if you aren’t able to dedicate full-time hours. If you hire a professional and they arrive with a team, expect your stairs to be sanded in as little as 2 hours (for simple projects). Finishing the stairs takes a while longer as there are drying and sealing times to consider, but the actual work will take much less time than the sanding portion.
