We are a group of landscape professionals who offer a wide variety of services. Hired them in April 2019 to level and reseal patio pavers with polymeric sand. Job looked okay at first, but shortly several voids starting showing in the sand and some pavers started to settle, which is not unusual or unexpected. Sent them pictures at their request and they said they would return and repair the problem areas. I marked the voids and uneven areas with tape to make it easy for them to locate the voids. I also asked that they call to schedule the repair so that I could be there. After over 2 months of inquiries and waiting, someone showed up when we weren't home and did the repairs. Some additional voids have since appeared. If they had come when I was home as requested, I would have simply asked for them to leave a little poly sand so I could fix an additional settling without having to bother them.

"The customer was told from the beginning that it was not a permanent solution to the problem. The patio is old and needs to be completely redone. We fixed all settled areas and voids. A few months later we came back to address the further settling of the patio. We did have any agreement that the work completed was under any sort of warranty. I went back at my own expense and fixed it again. THE CUSTOMER DIDNT PAY ANY ADDITIONAL MONEY. I would have been more then happy to give him a bag of poly sand. In my opinion we went above and beyond to satisfy the customer but just like they say you can't please everyone."

Work was well done. Cleanup could have been a bit better as some branches were left that I had to cleanup. Also workers left before letting me know they were completed. Recommend they see the costumer when work is completed to ensure it was done to their satisfaction. All in all good work and I would hire again.

A red flag should have went up when I called to hire them and I never saw the owner come out or was able to talk to him. The only woman who ever answers the phone said she'd send me an email with the contract after she ate her lunch. Now I only have a small area to cut and I admit that a lot of it is weeds and bare because of the trees. However, what was green should have remained green. The crew drove so fast across the ground every time they came, but caused a particular problem after several days of heavy rain. They displaced many areas of grass and skidded mud across others leaving previously green areas now patches of dirt. They also hit several trees and took the bark off of them. When I called to complain the "customer service" woman told me that she'd tell the crew to slow down and that she'd discuss the issue with the owner. After calling for 4 days, and hearing every excuse in the book and every promise that I'd be called back, I finally told them that I no longer required their services. The owner never spoke to me and I was offered no resolution until I told the rude woman that I was going to give honest reviews of their terrible service. I paid my bill in full as I was told that their contract states that they are not responsible for damage and put my own seed down. Unfortunately, I can't put the bark back on the trees. I don't mind paying for good work and good customer service, but I received neither with this company.

We apologize that you had a negative experience with Honey Cove, but we take pride in our customer service attentiveness and we upheld those standards with you as well. Yes, you did call multiple times after the incident occurred. However, I explained to you that once Brandon was sent out to look at the damage done, I would call you back. Brandon took the time out to personally go to your residence to assess the situation. He went in late evening, so I had intentions of calling you that next day. However, you called me first thing in the morning and when I attempted to explain the matter to you, you stated that " you did not want to hear these excuses" and proceeded to hang the phone up on me. Even though that interaction was hostile, I never leave a client with that type of impression, so I proceeded to call you twice and send you an email. I did not receive a response from either of those methods. Since I was hung up on, I did not have the opportunity to offer you a discounted rate for that day of service or any resolution for that matter. When the crew came out, yes it had rained the morning prior. Since you were on an every other week mowing schedule we felt that the conditions were fine to continue mowing and we did not want you to have to go a longer than usual time frame between your mows. We value our work and want all of our clients to have a well manicured lawn. The supposed tree bark damage was never mentioned to me at any point in time because if it was, Brandon would have addressed that as well at his site visit. I wish this relationship would have ended differently. If you wish to discuss this matter with me further, again, I would be more than happy to talk to you on the phone or via email. Enjoy your day."

I just want to say that the service was great, Brandon is very professional and did a great job, we will be using him in the future for all our landscaping needs. If you need trees removed I would highly recommend Honey Cove!!!!

I have used Brandon's services last year and was not disappointed; he delivers! I would call him again in a minute because he doesn't delay. He promptly schedules and gets the job done just as quickly. I've lived in Calvert for over 20 years and have called numerous tree service companies before meeting Brandon. Most of them either didn't return my calls...or failed to promptly schedule the work (one company actually returned my call a year later!). When I contact a tree service company, I expect prompt scheduling and good customer service. I get that every time I call Honeycove! I'll be calling them again with more work. Thank you Brandon, Carla and staff. Your professionalism shines through each & every time!

The tree service was excellent, however the landscaping had numerous deficiencies.
To start, the office manager rescheduled me two times and did not call to notify me. I actually lost a day at work due to them assuring me they would be there and after I called to find out where they were, they advised me that they were finishing up another job.
Landscaping work was OK, except for the window boxes built in the front of the house were not constructed the same and the front landscaping was very sloppy work. Mulching in the back of the house was put down sparingly, as I already have weed block showing.

I recently had Honey cove remove several trees from my property. The service was prompt, professional, and very well executed. They showed up when they said they would, for both the removal and for the consultation beforehand. The removal was performed flawlessly and did not damage any surrounding structures. The stumps were completely ground and all debris was cleared away. Highly recommend.

Honey Cove took care of our lawn mowing and maintenance for the 2015 season! They are great. Professional, courteous and did a great job with our lawn and they also did another job installing new flower beds with white rock! Everything was done so well and Brandon and his crew are so wonderful! I am looking forward to the 2016 season with Honey Cove!

I was hesitate to book service on a day I was out of town but that was the only day they could do the leaf clean up service. I was truly pleased with the service upon my return the next day. I sent pictures and a note via email of what I wanted done and they completely did the job and then some. I didn't tell them to clean the leaves out of the stairs leading to my basement but they did. Again I was extremely pleased with the service and would use them again. My backyard looks great. Thanks for your superb service.

Very well. Arrived on time, phoned before hand saying he was on his way. 3 workers showed up with him and they got right to tree removal. When finished they cleaned up debris and left yard tidy.

Service as advertised on Angie's List promoted a deal for both aeration and over seeding.
Job performed was solely the the aeration of lawn. As I checked other reviews I discovered that another member had a similar experience and that the vendor said that the error was on Angie's List. The price should was only for aeration of the lawn.
I am not pointing fingers at either party but only grading my review on the service I received and what I thought I paid for.

The service went well. They arrived each week and quickly performed their services. A team of people mowed an acre of grass and trimmed around the house, pool and fence line. We had no problems with their service, and the owner was responsive to our requests.

We just started using him about a year ago and he is great. He comes out about every 10 days. We also had a tree fall in our yard and he actually took care of that for us as well. He cleaned it up and did whatever he needed to do such as mulching. He is very friendly, responsive and if I call him he will typically answer the phone or call me right back. He does a really good job and if the weather is going to get bad he will come out early to get the work done before weather changes. The guys that work with him are really good and he is always with the guys when they come. He is a really nice, laid back guy who is a hard worker. He gives me the option of paying monthly, weekly, at the end of the season or if I want to pay in installments. He will work with me. I can also pay for the whole year if I want.

Was only there 10 minutes. Had a poorly designed machine for aeration (holes widely spaced) and only made one pass, which was inadequate. Made no suggestions as to my needs. I guess you get what you pay for.

The owner was very nice and came to our home to appraise and schedule; he suggested doing it right then and there and reluctant to come back saying that it "really wasn't worth it". All they did was blow the leaves into our woods which then blew back into our yard. Kind of thought they would remove...We only had a 1/4 acre...maybe a bigger client would suit them better.
