"We were lucky enough to work with Renaissance Flooring on our project. We needed LVP on our main floor and carpeting in the rest of our house and as overwhelming as it was, Latif made it easy. He was so helpful and taught us a lot! We will always recommend him!"

"Saber came to give us a quote, then returned to stretch our carpet. He did an outstanding job -- was on time, did the work quickly, moved and replaced furniture, then cleaned up everything. All was done at a reasonable price. We were very pleased and will hire him again to clean the carpets."

"D&H Demolition quickly demoed the carpet from my living, dining , and steps to the second floor. Replaced with re- claimed hardwood flooring which resulted in a significant cost savings for me. Replaced the flooring and steps with a satin finish that so beautiful that I keep getting comments. Work was timely completed and professionally done. I would definitely use their services again. Carpet Stretching FAQs, answered by experts

Yes, by patching or section replacement to blend seamlessly.

You’ll know if your carpet is stretched enough if it lies completely flat and smooth across your floor. If you have ripples, wrinkled areas, or carpet piling up along the baseboards, these are telltale signs that your carpet is not fully stretched. Release the carpet from the tack strip along one wall and use a stretcher or knee kicker to stretch out the carpet before securing it again.

The life span of carpet in a home with children and animals depends on factors like the carpet material’s quality, how frequently you clean and maintain it, and the level of foot traffic. On average, carpets need to be replaced every five to 15 years. Signs of wear, matting, or persistent odors may indicate that it's time to contact a local flooring company to replace your carpet.

How long carpet dye lasts depends on the quality of the dye and the application process. At a minimum, dyed carpets keep their color for a year, but some can last longer. Many factors affect how long carpet dye lasts, including the amount of UV rays that hit the carpet, causing it to fade. However, the good news is you can have your carpet dyed annually to keep up the color.

Yes, carpeted stairs are generally considered safer than stairs with hard surfaces like wood, vinyl, or tile. Carpet provides more traction and friction, which helps reduce the chances of slips and falls. Additionally, if a fall does occur, carpet offers more cushioning, which can lessen the severity of an injury. While hard surfaces can look great, they are often more slippery. However, it's worth noting that some carpets, especially if they are new, dirty, or have a slick texture, can also pose a slipping hazard. To improve safety on any type of stair surface, you can add traction treads to increase grip.
