"Able Well helped me perform a chemical treatment of my home well after it failed a bacteria test. They also replaced and rewired the well cap. They were knowledgeable about the system and taught me a lot of great info about my home system. The reason for 1-star is the complete lack of punctuality. They were 5 hours late on the first day and 4 hours late on the second date. No one ever reached out to me to let me know they would be late or communicated a need to change the time of the appointment. For how expensive the service was, I would expect better communication and ability to keep an appointment. I'd recommend shocking your well yourself, it isn't hard, and spending almost 10 hours waiting on arrival was a hard way to spend my day."

I thought that the leaking line would have been removed instead it was capped and wasn't capped correctly which I had to point out. I thought the he $1100 was including to remove old line. My error for understanding this. Installed a 5ft water line from my fridge to the sink (5 feet distance) and was charged $1100 which I leaned later was about triple the average price for that type of job."

The well pump starts when the tank reaches the minimum cut-in pressure. It turns off when the tank reaches the maximum cut-out pressure. The desired water pressure in the household is usually a few psi above the cut-in number. The difference between the cut-in and cut-out pressure settings should be 20 psi. Typical settings for household applications include 20/40, 30/50, and 40/60.

Signs that your well is dry include a decrease in water pressure, strange odors coming from faucets, cloudy, bubbly, or discolored water, and water that’s warmer than normal. Signs that your well pump is bad are similar, but you may also notice higher-than-average electric bills, strange clicking sounds, and faucets that spit or sputter.

If your well water supply suddenly runs dry, it could be due to a faulty pressure switch. A bad pressure switch can affect the pump's operation, leading to a loss of water. Testing the switch to see if it functions correctly is the first step in resolving the issue and restoring your water supply.

If the switch is faulty, it may need to be repaired or replaced. If the issue is more complex and involves other components, consult a professional well technician so they can address the issue and fix the water supply.
