"One unit was fine. The heat pump unit needs some new parts as it is 11 years old and sitsc in the roof under the southern sun and is just getting worn down. So Rob from Sila recommended the parts that need replacing. Very good company that I have used for that to perform these twice yearly checkups. Highly recommended."

"Very pleased - arrived on time - quoted the above job - had to replaced faucet and 30 year + old sump pump, main shutoff - cleared drain for sink/disposal and fixed dish washer drain pipe etc. Jermaine had to get WSSC to come out and repair outside water feed, otherwise he would have completed in a few hours (had to wait for WSSC). Again very pleased and would highly recommend! Drain Surgeon Plumbing & Heating and Jermaine are on my speed dial for future plumbing needs."

"When we returned from vacation, the sump pump had failed, causing a mess in our mechanical room. We obtained the services of 7247 through Angi, and the response was swift. Lee Williams arrived, immediately identified the problem, took measures to secure a new pump, and installed it late in the evening. We were so grateful that he completed the replacement the same night."

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

Though sprinkler systems can have varying issues, there are a few common ways to know if the cause is your pump. Signs include cracking or visible damage, leaking from the pump, a pump that won’t turn on, and loud noises coming from your pump. Low or irregular pressure could also point to a pump problem, but there are other causes.

Yes, most professional repairs include checking for leaks, sealing connections, and ensuring proper drainage.

If you notice that your well pump runs continuously, it’s important to take action quickly to avoid further damage. A few common issues may be to blame for a continuously running well pump, such as mechanical damage, a faulty pressure control switch, low water level, prime loss, and leaking pipes and fixtures.

There are many reasons you may want to extend the depth of an existing well or drill a new, deeper well on your property. A deeper well can tap cleaner water sources—shallow water may contain more contaminants. With a deeper well, you’ll also have an easier time reaching the water table depth (the level at which underground water is found) and can get past tricky soil conditions.

Plus, if your local building code requires a minimum well depth for safety and environmental standards, you’ll meet the code by digging a deeper well in the first place.

Common signs that your well pump is failing include fluctuating or consistently poor water pressure, sputtering water from faucets, or a complete loss of water. Other indicators are unusual noises coming from the pump, the pump running continuously, dirty or cloudy water, or a sudden, unexplained spike in your utility bills. While some issues, especially after a power outage, might be resolved by simply restarting the power or priming the pump, persistent problems suggest a more serious issue. If you notice any of these red flags, it is recommended to call a professional well pump service to inspect the system and determine whether it needs to be repaired or replaced.
