"Our new kitchen is beautiful, functional, and better than we could have imagined. AES transformed our cramped, galley-style kitchen into a show piece. Overall, the process was fairly smooth from design through execution. We enjoyed working with their interior designer/concierge person, Shawna—picking materials and products was a breeze, and we had the benefit of AES's direct relationship with some quality vendors. Furthermore, they produced good-quality architectural 3-D renderings which were very helpful for the design process. One nice anecdote: At the beginning, I let AES know that I wanted to do painting (to save a bit of money, and to do it to my liking). The kitchen crew still did fantastic wall prep—perfectly primed and smooth. The kitchen crew also carefully removed the old cabinetry intact and in good condition, allowing me to donate it eventually. I have one word of warning for customers undertaking any similar remodel: avoid Best Buy if you can! AES typically brings their clients to Best Buy for picking out appliances. While we were super happy with the products we bought, dealing with Best Buy was a nightmare. One appliance arrived damaged and Best Buy gave both us AND our AES rep the run-around trying to get it replaced. Thankfully, AES had our back and it was finally sorted and the appliance re-installed by the wonderful kitchen crew. The kitchen was finished sooner than expected too, with no loss to attention to detail."

"We had our entire bathroom entirely demolished all the way down to the support beams and fully rebuilt (the house is old and needed a lot of repairs). The entire team was absolutely amazing from designing and planning (Junior), to the project getting done (Kadir was our PM, Tony and Paul were our electricians, and all the other guys who came in to do the tilework and plumbing - I am sorry I do not know their names but they were also awesome). This bathroom required an enormous amount of work and it came out absolutely beautiful. The whole team takes a lot of pride in their work and they truly desire that their customers are happy and expectations are exceeded with their work. I am already planning more projects with them, their work is not limited to bathroom and kitchen remodels, and I look forward to working with them again. The quality of their work is guaranteed and their prices are super reasonable (big plus)."

"I came to Melissa & Bluehouse a number of years ago as I couldn't visualize the layout to accomplish my goals in what began as a kitchen remodel. Melissa's impeccable handling of my project from the word "go" is nothing but an understatement! Each and every detail I listed from want's & desires to fears & concerns were addressed. Living up to her word every step of the way, Melissa addressed my list while pointing out elements I hadn't thought of. As a TV news producer, I'm a tough cookie, and yet when I had questions, Melissa answered them honestly and often with visuals to help me understand what I needed to learn. I appreciated her teamwork attitude when working with the Structural Engineers let alone my amazing contractor! Melissa's perfectionism is the reason not one single measurement needed to be modified in what became not just a kitchen remodel, but a 1st-floor remake with our addition going both upstairs & down. When you consider who to hire, consider this, as a newswoman, I interview 3 people for every job, I don't cut corners and nothing gets swept under the rug. Melissa is THAT kind of pro! She is going to do right by you, because she knows what is at stake, and she is only going to put her name on something she stands behind. For that, and a million little reasons, without question, if I had another project, I'd hire her in a heartbeat!"
